We regret to announce the passing on of Mr. jafftah Kipketter Kirui (Kap Tireito) of Chepkoiyo Village, Kapnyamisa, Mosoriot, Nandi County.

Beloved son of the late Kipkirui Koin Tirop and the late Anna Tirop.

Husband of Leah Kirui. Father of Maureen Kirui (Uasin Gishu), Janet Kirui (Maseno University), Caren Kirui (Australia), Joan Kirui (KMTC Meru) and Diana Chepkorir (AIC Ebenezer, Kabarnet). Father-in-law of Rev. Steve Rotich and Elkana Kiyeny. Grandfather of Brandon, Emmanuel,Annabel, Nadia and Navia.

Brother of the late David, Pamela. Nicholas, late Elijah, Nelly, Rebecca, late Ruth, Busienei, late Chesoimo, late Paul, late Jones, late Lydia, Naum, Stephen, Truphena, late Heredion, Phoebian,Wilson, late Lena and late Sala Kirui.

Fundraising was held yesterday, Sunday 15/02/2026 at his home.

His body will be removed from Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 17/0212026 for overnight vigil at his home in Chepkoiyo, Kapnyamisa, Mosoriot, Nandi County. Burial is on Wednesday 18/02/2026.
