Mr. Mark Nyaga Mutua

It is with deep sorrow & acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Mark Nyaga Mutua, on 9th September 2025 while undergoing treatment.

Son of the late Rueben Mutua & the late Zipporah Wanjuki. Brother of the late Tirus Munyi, Japhet Munyi, Joyce Njura, Jeremiah Kivuti & Japheth Nyaga.

Beloved husband of the late Flora Warue & later Doris Wandia. Cherished father of Christine Wanjuki, Grace Muthoni, Martin Njeru & Eva Ndunge, Henry Kamau & Joy Sarah.

Son-in-law of the late Henry Kamau & Teresina, and the late Muigai Mwaniki & Esther Mugui.

Grandfather of Olivia Warue & Bruce Nyaga. A loving brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, father-in-law, mentor & friend to many.

A distinguished professional in Kenya’s co-operative movement, he served as General Manager at Magereza Sacco & Stima Sacco, and was a devoted member of the Catholic Church.

Funeral Arrangements Nairobi: Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Hall — Monday, 5:30 p.m. (Final meeting & Fundraiser). Embu: Karurumo/Kararari residence — daily, 3:00 p.m.

Requiem Mass:Tuesday, 16th September 2025, 10:00 a.m., Don Bosco Catholic Church, Upper Hill.

Funeral Service & Burial:Thursday, 18th September 2025, at his family home, Kararari, Embu County.
