Mwalimu Margaret Wanjiru Ngugi

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we regret to announce the death of Mwalimu Margaret Wanjiru Ngugi at The Nairobi Hospital on 1st April, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Ndirangu and the late Elizabeth Wanjira. Daughter in law of the late Kiragu Njoroge and the late Milka Wangui.

A loving wife of the Late Mwalimu Samuel Ngugi Kiragu. Dearest mother of Grace Nyaguthii, Pauline Wangui and Hildah Waruguru. A cherished mother in law of the late Charles Muchiri and Benson Maina.

Doting grandmother of Chelsea Njeri, Iman Wanjiru, Brenda Wanjiru, Imran Ngugi and Taji Gachaga.

Sister of the late Mary Wangui, the late Simon Wanjohi, Agnes Wanja, the late George Gathogo, the late Priscilla Mukami, Lucy Gathoni, Charles Baragu and Jane Wairima.

Sister in law of the late Waruguru Maigua, Muthoni Gatenge, the late Wanjiku Kiragu, the late Joseph Macharia, the late Priscilla Wanjohi, the late Maina Nyamu, Esther Gathogo, the late James Nyaribo, Francis Muthee and the late Esther Baragu.

A cherished auntie, cousin and friend of many.

Burial will be held on the 10th April, 2025 at her Riiru Farm, Bondeni, Mweiga Location in Nyeri County at 11am.

Requiem Mass at Riiru Home on the 8th April, 2025 at 3.30pm.

Friends and Family are meeting daily at her Riiru Home from 4.00p.m for prayers.
