Mwalimu Robinson Munyugi

The family of the late Mwalimu Robinson Munyugi is saddened to announce the demise of Robinson Munyugi Mwangi, from Gathinja Village, Kirogo Sub-location, Murang’a County, on 14th October 2025, after a battle with cancer.

He was a beloved husband of Grace Wanjiku. Father of Emmah Nieri, Solomon Mwangi, Thomas Ihura, Leah Muthoni. Father-in-Law of Brendah Juma, Jemmimah Wangechi, and Francis Kangere.

Brother of the late Irungu, the late Mindo, the late Wanja, Njoroge, Njoki, Kimani, the late Kahura, and the late Wanjiku.

Cousin of Irungus, Mwangis, Nyingis, Kimemia, and many others.

Brother-in-law, Late Wambui, Kiringu, Maina, Late Wamu, and Njoki.

In-law of Dumas from Kakamega, Maragwas, and Kamunyus.

Uncle of Mwangis, Daniel, Emily, Wanjirus, Wanja, Catherine, Mirung’u, Kazee, Njeri, Hassan, Musa, Maim, Irungu, Maureen, and many others. Grandfather to many grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home in Gathinja Village for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Hospital (KUTTRH) Mortuary on Saturday, 25/10/ 2025 for burial.
