Mzee Clement Nderitu Maina

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mzee Clement Nderitu Maina, beloved husband, devoted father, grandfather, who entered into eternal rest on 2nd April 2026, aged 74 years.

Son of the late Mr. Maina Kagonye and the late Mrs. EvaWamuyu.

Loving and devoted husband of Florence Wanjiku Nderitu. Beloved father of Eva Wamuyu,Alexa Nderitu, Martin Maina and Alice Wanjiru. Cherished grandfather of Joy Maina, Ian Maina, Kristian Nderitu and Zoe Wanjiku, who brought immeasurable joy to his heart.

Dear brother of Leah Muthoni, Lydia Muringo and Gladys Gathigia. Loving brother of the late Zachariah Ngatia, Priscilla Muthoni (the late), Martha Wambui (the late), Jesse Muringo (the late), David Ndegwa (the late), John Ngunyi (the late), Zachary Ngatia (the late), Loyce Mumbi (the late) and James Kamau (the late).

He is deeply mourned by the entire Nderitu family, friends and all whose lives he touched. A man of deep and unwavering faith, Mzee Clement lived his life firmly anchored in God’s word, drawing strength and peace from Scripture – particularly Psalm 23, Matthew 1 1:28-30 and Isaiah 26:3-4. He was a pillar of his family, a gentle soul, and a man whose love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral Arrangements are as follows:

The cortege departs Cheregany Hospital Mortuary, Kitale on Friday, 10th April 2026 at 8:00 am. A funeral service will be held at Quaker Hill Academy, Mokoiywet at 10:00 am, conducted by PCEA Church. Thereafter, the burial will take place at his home in Mokoiywet, Trans Nzoia, Kitale.
