1st Anniversary

Tata, it is exactly one year since that day, October 30th 2018, when God promoted you to His glory. It has been a tough and very difficult year, but we have all kept strong in the hope that one day we shall meet again. Not a day passes that you don’t cross our minds. We cherish the fond memories of a loving husband, a caring father, a dotting grandfather and great grandfather, but above all a great man and a friend to many. Tata, even as we still struggle to dry our tears, we are filled with joy for who you were and for what you made of us. You made great sacrifices for us, you gave your all, you taught us so much and counselled us, we did not lack for anything. We stride into the future knowing that you are always with us, guiding and inspiring us to do good. We all have a special place in our hearts that only you, Tata, can fill.

Tata, you taught us and exemplified the famous words of the French-American missionary Stephen Grellet: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”

As a family we acknowledge and appreciate all those that have stood with us and supported us during these trying moments. Thank you all for being there for us and may God bless you all.

Family and friends will hold a memorial prayer on Friday 1st November, 2019 at Tata’s home in Kenonka Village, Bokiambori Sub-location, Nyamira County.

Tata, you are still loved and dearly missed by your loving wives, Mama Mary Mosero Orina and Mama Bilia Mokeira Orina, your beloved Children, grand-children, great grand-children, brothers, cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and your very many friends.

Rest well Tata, you will forever remain in our hearts.
