It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee James Peter Ngugi Kaguathi.

Son of the late Mr. David Kaguathi Kuria and the late Mrs Winnie Wanjiku Kaguathi.

Husband of Hannah Nyambura Ngugi.

Brother of Mary Njeri Ngumi (Bahati), Felista Muthoni Njoroge (Wamwitha), the late Elizabeth Nyambura Waronja, the late George Kuria Kaguathi & the late James Chege Kaguathi.

Father of David Kaguathi, Mrs. Pauline Gichora (Eldoret), Fred Nganga (USA), George Kuria (Tgs Manohar Lall & Rai), Winnie Wanjiku (McLarens), Felistas Nyambura, Thomas Kaiba (USA), James Chege (USA), Steven Mbugua, Michael Kinyanjui and Martha Njeri (ISK).

Father-in-law of Lenny Chomba (Chomba Sounds, Eldoret), Susan Wanjiku., Maria Ayala (USA), Hellen Murugi, Charity Nyawira; Emma Kaiba (USA), Maria Bernaldez (USA), Tabitha Gathoni, Ann Wairimu and Rashid Rona. He was a great-grandfather, grandfather, father, uncle, Cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence Ngarariga, Limuru from 4.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Uphome Funeral Home in Uplands on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 at 8.30AM for funeral service at Our lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – Ngarariga and interment later on at his home in Ngarariga.
