It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mzee John Kiboi Muriu who peacefully rested on 6th November 2025 at 12:15 a. m after a long illness.
Born on 20th September 1936 in Gatundu, Kiambu County, Mzee John was the son of the late Gatama Muriu and Wanjiru Gatama. He was the brother of Ruth Nyambura, the late Ann Wahu and Joshua Maina.
He was the beloved husband of Margaret Njeri, a cherished father of Faith Wanjiru, Pia Wambui, and Sarah Nyambura and a loving grandfather of Anisa, Melissa, Anthony, Cindy, Gabriella, Harley, and Isaac.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Ongata Rongai, Kimandiro at 5 pm. The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Road (Nairobi) on Thursday November 20th, 2025 at 8:00 am followed by the Funeral Service and Burial at his residence at Ongata Rongai at 9:00 am.
