It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing of Mzee Joshua Seroney Serem on 30th March 2026 of Kaptigen Village, Tenges Ward, Baringo County after a short illness bravely borne.

He was the beloved son of the late Edward Cheserem Cheruiyot and Magdalene Tarkok and MariaTeriki. Son in-law of Andrew Kipyator Chepkeitany, late Anna Kimoi, late Nancy and Emily Chepkeitany.

Loving husband of Rosemary Seroney. Beloved father of Abraham Cheluget (Equity Bank), Amos Kipchirchir (Co-op Bank), Caroline Jepkoech (Rafiki M.F Bank) and Esther Jebichi (Mara Lifesciences).

Brother of the late Ruth, late Julia,Alice, Jonah, Peter, Kenneth, Rosemary, Boaz, Michael, Simon, Kipkoech, Weldon, Mercelineand Kiprono.

Father in-law of Juddy, Mercy and Elijah. Grandfather of Claire, Abel, Ivan, Annabel and Ian.

Family, relatives, and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kaptigen Village, Tenges Ward, Baringo county starting from 2:00 pm to plan for the burial arrangements.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, 10th April 2026, at his Kaptigen home in Tenges Ward, Baringo County.
