Nazarene Wambui Nganga

In acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Nazarene Wambui Nganga of Kerarapon, Ngong, who passed away on 12th November 2025.

Wife of Rufus Tiras Nganga and mother of Eng. Jeff and Dr Anne Kimari, Paul and Germaine Njoroge, Advocates Edwin and Peris Chege, Nelson and Susan Mukora and special mother of Anne Wambui.

Daughter of the late Joshphat Machiri and the late Emilia Wangui, and daughter-in-law of the late Tirus Njoroge and the late Herina Wairimu of Gatundu village, Gakarara Sub-location, Ithiru Location, Kandara Sub-county, Muranga Country.

She was grandmother of Ndigi, Sally, Meg,Wambui, Mike, Naitore, Natalie, Theodore, Ryan, Tirus, Nathan, Francia, Ivan and great grandmother of Rosy.

Sister of the late Onesmus Mutungu, the late Simon Mburu, the late Julia Wanjiku, the late Peter Njoroge, Francis Waweru, Duncan Kihara, Margaret Niambi and Anne Waithera.

Formerly a Teacher and Deputy Headmistress at Lavington Primary, St. George’s Primary, Moi Avenue Primary, Uhuru Gardens Primary and St. Mary’s Primary School, Karen. She later became a Teacher Supervisor at the Nairobi City Council Education Department and retired in 1996. She served as a Lay Reader at ACK St Francis Church, Karen.

Family, relatives and friends will meet at ACK, St. Francis Church, Karen and at home in Kerarapon, Ngong on Monday 17th November 2025 from 5.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Wednesday 19th November 2025, at 7.00 m for a funeral service at ACK St. Francis Church, Karen at 10.00 am followed by the burial at their home in Kerarapon the same day.
