The Cortege leaves Kendu Mission Hospital (Gendia) on Thursday 9th May, 2024 for burial on Friday 10th May 2024, at Kanyong’o Sub-Location, Kabonga Village, Homa Bay County under the SDA church.

Daughter of the late David Ngigi and Pauline Wanjiku Ngigi. Daughter-in-law of the late David MatheaWanguirubi and Joyce Ndudu Mathea.

She was a loving sister of Michael Karanja Ngigi (Supafoam LTD), the late Joseph Ngei Ngigi, John Ndichu Ngigi, Alex Kibugi Ngigi (St. Augustine, Mutundu), the late Hannah Njeri Ngigi, the late Paul Njau Ngigi, Gertrude Nyambura Ikaba, Lucy Wangui Ngigi.

She was at Co-operative Bank for more than 30 years, diligently serving thousands of customers in Embu, Nyeri, Karatina, Chuka and finally Mwea branch.

She was a treasured mother, grandmother, friend, colleague, aunty, and cousin of many.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday, 10th of May 2024 at precisely 8:30a.m. Mass will be held at St. Peter’s PIA Catholic Church and thereafter laying of the wreath in her home at Mahigaini (100m from Oriental Palace), in Kirinyaga County.

He was husband of Mrs Maureen Kawasya Munuve and Father of Patrick Munyithya, Anne Lima, Erick Mwania and Grace Ndanu.

He was brother of Margaret Mutave, Agnes Nduume and Japheth Mutunga. He was son in-law of Mwania Mukangi and Mary Kavute. He was grandfather of Alma Edwin. He was father in-law of Ian Edwine Onchoke.

Funeral arrangement are on – going at his home in Kabati Kitui.

The funeral will take place on Friday, 10 May 24 at his home in Kabati, Kauwi Ward, Kitui West -Kitui County.

A loving and devoted husband of Patricia Haika, he raised six awesome children Rachael Eere, Olga Manko, Loyd Okoth, Prince Ooko, Sheilla Odhiambo and Sharon Odhiambo.

Father-in-law of Elly Were, Jacob Ndiu, Johnathan Mariko and Daudi Chitema, Grandfather of Sauhat, Athena, Lynn, Kaylee, Andre, Marcus, Jackson, Taraji and Kelany.

Brother of Grace Okoth, Caroline Ouma, the late James Ogot, the late Samuel Ayieko, Roy Okoth, Susan Pundo, the late Lilian Okoth and Peter Okoth, Step brother of Pamela and David Okoth, Cousin of the Kaseras and Joka Nyina, Uncle and friends of many.

Loving father of Tracy Masinde, Jason Mutua, Ruby Mutuku and Sammy Mutuku. Adored grandfather of Philip, Nadumbe, Keith and Mansa.

He was a dear brother of the late Anne Nduku Mutua, the late David Kasyula Mutua, Serah Nzembi Mutua, John Kioko Mutua, Moses Wambua Mutua and Peter Mweu Mutua.

Uncle of Shaun Mutua, Ndivo Kivinda, William Nzyoka, Kalekye Kivinda and Jesse . Mutua.

Simon will be laid to rest at a private interment.
