Obituary Image of Salome Njeri Gichuru

Salome Njeri Gichuru

Though 14 years have come and gone since we bid farewell to our Mum, her radiant spirit continues to illuminate our lives with the warmth and wisdom she so graciously imparted.

Her life was a masterpiece woven with vibrant threads of resilience, compassion, and an insatiable zest for living. Through every triumph and obstacle, she carried herself with quiet strength and unwavering grace that inspired all who knew her. Even in the twilight of her years, her essence sparkled as brilliantly as the stars themselves.

In her nurturing embrace, we found solace, unconditional love, and the courage to face each new day with optimism. Cucu’s kindness soothed the weariest of souls, while her seasoned wisdom anchored us during life’s stormiest moments. With a twinkle in her eye and a radiant smile, she bestowed upon each of us the priceless gift of feeling cherished,

Mum understood the simple yet profound beauty that surrounds us all. She taught us to appreciate nature’s symphony – the gentle breeze, the laughter of children, the vibrant canvases painted across evening skies. Her heart was an eternal sanctuary where love blossomed, and her arms offered a haven of solace and strength.

Though Cucu has long since departed this earthly realm, her Spirit continues to be woven into the fabric of our lives, generation after generation. Her radiance guides us still, reminding us to live with purpose, cherish each fleeting moment, and embrace the world and one another with open hearts.

Forever enshrined in our hearts and souls, Mum remains a beacon of hope, inspiration and the profound impact just one extraordinary life can have. Her spirit dances among the stars, igniting within us the courage to live  authentically, love wholeheartedly, and seek the beauty that surrounds us all.

“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”~ Romans 1: 4-8
