We, the family of Priscah Kwamboka Nyakoe (Osiri), who was laid to rest on 18th July 2025 at her home in Keginga Village, Nyamira County, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the friends, family, colleagues, and compassionate souls who supported us during this time of loss, following the resting of our cherished and beloved Mama Priscah.

To the Mwamasaki family, our relatives, and friends, Keginga community, religious leaders, church congregations, and choirs (Pr Jackline ‘Nyasani, Pr Joshua Murimi and Pr Moses Dayan deserves special mention), funeral committees and all service providers, medical staff and caregivers (Dr Mongare Onsomu and Nakuru Specialist Hospital deserves special mention), colleagues and employers (The KTDA, TSC and Ministry of Health fraternities deserves a special mention) and to everyone who sent condolences, offered financial support, or showed love in any way: We extend our deepest appreciation for your unwavering support, comforting words, thoughtfulness and presence during that difficult time.Your love, prayers, and acts of kindness were a great source of strength which provided solace and helped ease our burden and remind us of the strong bonds that united us all as we bid farewell to our dear mother. We, the family of the late Mwalimu Robert Onyango Obori, sincerely thank you for helping us bury our dad peacefully on 19/7/2025.

We particularly thank Rev/Fr/Dr. William Fryda, Founder and CEO of St. Mary’s and St. Joseph Rift Valley Hospitals, and the hospital staff and Nursing students, for treating Mwalimu as one of their own until his final journey. Thank you Seth and Rose Manera, Principal Francis Muthiri, Francis Wambugu, Dr. Collins & Elizabeth Malalu, Dr. Boniface Mutiso, Ruth Kamau, Mercy Nyambura, Christine Baraza, Silas Odhiambo, Peter Mwaniki, Kamau Miringu,Alex Mambo, John Ndegwa, Elijah Mwangi, Collins Mbinda, Priscah Kamau, and Julia Ekhuya, for coming home. We thank CITAM Nakuru leaders who came led by Beris Odak, Pst. Abel Moriasi,Timothy Rimu, Steve Kibiro, together with the CITAM Nakuru Gilgil Safari-Group members led by Josphine Mbaya, Ruth Ondieki, David Chege, Jane Karanja, and Dr. Nicholas & May Auma.Your presence at home spoke more than words. We thank the Principal Mr. Richard Kenduiywo, and staff of Cheptenye Boys High School and KUPPET Kericho branch; the Principal of Kajiado East TVC Dr. Josyline Nkonge, D/Principal Academics, Mr.Wesley Mosigisi, Mr. Joshua Koyiet and the entire KETVC staff, the Head of Institution Kibos Special School for the blind Madam Carolyne Templer and the entire staff, for coming home.Thank you Parkinson’s Support Group Kenya for coming, donating a wheelchair, and supporting our mom who has advanced Parkinson’s disease.

We, the family of the late Francis Mbiyu Nguru, celebrate and honour his remarkable 108-year journey. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend, whose life was marked by wisdom, strength, and enduring love.

As we laid him to rest on Er July 2025, we were deeply moved by the overwhelming support shown through prayers, visits, messages, calls, contributions, and presence from friends, family, and community near and far.

Special thanks to the doctors at Halisi Family Hospital, Kitengela, his caregivers Henry and Richard, and the clergy and church communities of St. Stephen Ndumbuini, St. Mary’s Kabete, A.C.K. We, the family of the late Dinah Kerubo Nyakweba from Mosocho, Kitutu Central, Kisii County wish to express our heartfelt appreciation and deep gratitude to all who stood with us during the most difficult time following her untimely demise.

The late Dinah was beloved wife to Kennedy Nyakweba, Deputy Headteacher Mariba Comprehensive School, Kisii. She was mother to Zachary Nyakweba, Faith Moraa and Ruth Nyaboke.

To our extended family, friends, colleagues, neighbours. and well-wishers your prayers, kind words of encouragement, visits, financial support and presence brought us immense comfort and strength during our period of grief.

Special thanks to the funeral organizing committee for your tireless effort in ensuring a dignified and befitting farewell for our beloved mother.

We are especially grateful to Rubi SDA Church, where Mum faithfully fellowshipped, for the spiritual nourishment she received throughout her life and for the honorable send-off you gave her.

We extend sincere appreciation to the doctors and management of Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for the compassionate care and dedication you showed to Mum during her time in hospital.Your efforts did not go unnoticed.

In Loving Memory

The Karanja Karungu family humbly acknowledges the first anniversary of the
passing of our beloved matriarch, Margaret Njoki Karanja, who was called home on July 8, 2024.

Affectionately known as Maitu, Cucu, Maitu-Mukuru, Sister, Muiru, Friend and Teacher. Margaret lived a full and joyous 75 years, intentionally impacting countless lives. While our lives will never be the same without our Mum and Cucu, we have been sustained by the unwavering love and comfort of the Lord.
We are eternally grateful for her intentional and prayerful life, the invaluable lessons she taught both inside and outside the classroom and her tireless intercession.

Her profound love for Christ continues to be the foundation that binds us. The life lessons she shared, the values she instilled and the immense love and generosity she so deeply expressed are a cherished gift we are passing down to her grandchildren.

We have truly experienced God’s abundance over the past year and remain steadfast in our faith.

The family extends gratitude for the continued support, prayers, home visits, calls, messages and kind gestures received over the past year and beyond.

As He continues to comfort us, may the Lord God Almighty cause his face to shine upon everyone who fondly remembers Nyina wa Karungu. May he answer you whenever you call upon His name.

We remain profoundly thankful to the many friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who walked with us through every stage – from his final days to his Layinc to rest, and throughout this past year. Your unwavering support, kinc. words, and acts of remembrance have brought our family comfort and strength in immeasurable ways.

Dr. Wanjui was a visionary leader, mentor, and devoted family man whose influence continues to resonate across generations. While we miss him deeply, we find solace in the values he livec by and the example he set.
