George Shenouda Abanoub Kyrillos

We the family of the late George Shenouda wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty God for blessing us with the many years he gave us with George.

Our sincere gratitude and appreciation go to our families, relatives, friends, and neighbours for their overwhelming support, through prayers, kind words of comfort, encouragement, financial and material contributions during the difficult time.

Special thanks to the UN Habitat and Joint Medical Services.

We also give special thanks to the two funeral committees in Nairobi led by Karen Ngong View Estate residents (neighbours) and Buruburu Estate committees for their support and commitment which ensured a befitting and dignified send off for our beloved George.

Special thanks go to the doctors and nurses of Nairobi Hospital led by Dr. Betty Musau & Dr. Semu Musoke and Apollo Hospital, India, led by Dr. Elankumaran Krishnan for their care and support during his illness.

To the Nairobi Orthodox Church and the Karen Community Church, thank you for the beautiful services and words of encouragement and comfort offered to our family during the trying period. Since it is not possible to reach each and everyone of you in person, kindly accept this as an expression of gratitude for your valuable support by being there for us during our hour of need and ensuring that we give George a befitting send off.
