The cortege departs from Kenyatta University Funeral home on 11th December 2025 for a requiem mass at the All-Saints Cathedral Church from 2.00pm on 11th December 2025 and thereafter departs for Kitale.

Ben’s world revolved around his children; he found his greatest fulfilment in nurturing them, celebrating their milestones and dreaming of their future. His love for Jamari and Taji was deep and unwavering, and he embraced every moment of fatherhood with tenderness, joy and pride.

He was a cherished brother of Susan Mukami Karimi, Lilian Wangari Karimi, Yvonne Nyawira Karimi, and Sammy Derrick Mwangi Karimi.

Ben was also a beloved son-in-law and brother-in-law of the Mwangi family, and a friend to many. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, warm -smile, humility and kindness.

He was the nephew of Mwoma, Onchiri, Burana, the late (Manyansi, Tumbo, Nyasaka, Mogaka. Auka, Francis Sabora, Moris Sabora)-, Barongo, the late Nyangweso among others.

Family and friends are holding daily meetings at his home and online platforms for burial preparations.

Martha was the daughter of the late Kennedy Barii and Beatrice Kaimuri; beloved wife of Julius Karuti; and loving mother of Whitney Karuti, Victor Munene, Tracey Karuti, and Abigail Upendo.

She was sister of Lydia Makena, Edward Mwenda, Moses Ntoinya, and Peter Kaiyongi.

She was daughter-in-law of the late Samuel M’elingo, Margaret Ngeera, and Nkatha, Elingo; and sister-in-law of Zipporah, the late Kinanturu, Martha Kagwiria Mberia Sabina, and Geoffrey among others. She was a cousin and aunt to many.
