[It is with great shock and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Graduate Engineer Brian Obonyo Wasike that occurred on 5th June 2017. Beloved son of Prof. Ronald Wasike (Aga Khan University Hospital) and Mrs. Catherine Wasike (Kenyatta National Hospital). Brother of Marion Cheti (KWFT) Eric Wasike (East African Packaging), Mercy Nasubo Wasike (Royal Bank of Canada). Nephew of Dr. Isaac Wasike, Benedict Odongo, Engineer John Odongo, juma Odongo, Miriam Kadima, Patrick Wamalwa, Luke Wamalwa, Paul Wamalwa, Catherine Opwondo, Esther Nawire, Iwona Odongo, Mary Namulanda, Rose Situwa, Christine Odongo, Martin Wafula among others. Cousin of many including; Natasha, Roselyne, Emmanuel, Laura, Nigel,Wafula, Kennedy, Kosha, Ben.

Meetings daily at the Kimang’eti rural home. The cortege leaves the Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu Mortuary on 16th June and burial is on 17th June at imang’eti village in Malaya of Kakamega County.

Days have turned into an year since that painful moment when you left us for His Glory. We still feel profound pain in our sorrowful hearts as we miss you dearly.We are however grateful for the wonderful and blessed years that God allowed us to be graced with your presence and love. Beloved grandmother of Jennifer Wangui Gitiri – Office of Attorney General and Department of Justice and Stella Wangui Macharia of Indiana State USA among others. The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Friday 16th June, 2017 for requiem mass at Mugoiri Catholic Church and therafter burial at the family home.

Father-in-law of Anderson Matheka (MD, Treadsetters Tyres Ltd), Esther Mulwa, the late John Muindi and Monica Kanyingi (Liquid Telecom).
