It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Philip Sila Mutune, which occurred on Monday 12/6/2017 at The Nairobi Hospital while undergoing treatment. Son of the late Elijah Mutune and Martha Mutheu. Brother of Paul Mwololo and James Mutinda. Husband of Phylis Mbula Sila. Father of Catherine Mueni, Kennedy Mutune Sila (Saudi Arabia), Janice Mutheu, and Allan Sila (Infinity Consultancy Ltd). Father-in-law of Anderson Matheka (MD, Treadsetters Tyres Ltd), Esther Mulwa, the late John Muindi and Monica Kanyingi (Liquid Telecom). In-law of Damaris Matheka, Mr & Mrs Mulwa, Mrs Esther Katiwa and Mr & Mrs Kanyingi. Grandfather of Brian, Daisy, Joan, George, Jason, Prince, Mason, Emma and Ethan.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm for fundraising and burial preparations. Main fundraising to offset medical bills will be held on 21st June 2017 at 5.30pm, same venue.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on 24th June 2017 for funeral service and burial at his 1 home in Sultan-Hamud.
