Step mother of Maina, Kiramba, Mbucho, Wanjiru (USA), Muthoni, Ndungu and Muciiri and Wambui (USA). 1939 – 5th June 2017 Grandmother of Carol Muthoni, Judy Nyoike, Grace Nduta, Judy Maranga, Kennedy Nyoike (USA), Kevin Karanja, James Nyoike, Esther Masisi (UK), Chelsea Thomas (UK) and among many others. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University mortuary at 8am on June 13, 2017 for the funeral service at Gatitu Catholic Church in Kigongo sub county at 10.30am, followed by burial at her home in Kahunyu village.

Brother of the late Priscilla Njambi, the late Teresia Gathoni, Agnes Njoki, Mwalimu John Karanja, Njambi, Wangari, Njoki, the late Kamuyu, and Njore. Grandfather of Ruganos, Shallis, and Njokis. Uncle of many Kamamos, Kamuyus,Thukus and Karungus.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Gachagatha village, Karatu starting from 2.00pm and mass at 4.00pm daily. Others are meeting at Homeland Inn, Thika Road at 6.00pm daily.
The cortege leaves KU funeral home on Monday 12th June, 2017 at 9.00 a.m.The Funeral Mass will take place at St. James Catholic Church, Karatu at 11.00 a.m. and later interment at his home, Gachagatha village,Gatundu South.

Thereafter the body will proceed to Saye Village home with a brief stopover at Kadongo and Oyugis.
There will be a funeral service at Saye Village home before Baba is laid to rest on 17th June 2017.

Dotting father of Lambert (Eco-base Solutions), Yvonne (Obwolo Mixed) and Simona (University of Kabianga). Father-in-law of David (Moran Publishers). Loving grandfather of Aaron. Brother of Mary Owenga and the late Wamaya.
The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Mortuary on Friday, 9th June, 2017, 9.00 am, for requiem mass at Holy Trinity, Rang’ala, at 4.00pm.
The burial will take place at his home in Madeya, Siaya County, on Saturday, 10th June 2017.
