It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we, Consolata Missionary Sisters, announce the passing on to glory of our beloved Sr. Serafina Sergi which took place in Italy on 28/05/2017 where she was participating in our General Chapter.
She was born in Italy on 3/10/1947. She joined the Consolata Sisters in 1965, and after her formation went to USA for studies.
She dedicated her life to teaching and formation in Liberia, Italy and Kenya. She started and was Principal of Bishop Cavallera Girls’ Sec. School in Marsabit, Kenya until 2012. She served as a Regional Councilor, Vice Superior and Regional Superior of Kenya.
Presently she was the Regional Superior of DELK (Djibouti/Ethiopia/Liberia/Kenya)•
The requeim mass will be held on 10/6/ 2017 at 10:00am in Flora Hostel Chapel, Nairobi.
