Charles Patrick Oywer

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and ultimately demise of Mzee Mr. Charles Patrick Oywer on Thursday 18th May 2017.
Upto the time of his death, he was working at the Kenya Meteorological Department Eldoret airport station as a Met. Superintendent.
Husband to Risper Atieno. Father to Maurice Linet Achieng’, Dolphine Akinyi, Collins Oywer, Purity Adhiambo, Erick Omondi, Hellen Akeyo and Lillian Akoth of Sinanga Girls. He was born of mzee, Festo Owiti Muga and the late mama Phelister Apiyo of Uyoma Katweng’a. Brother to Joshua, Margaret, Miriam, Jectone, the late Jotham Ogot, late Jekonia and Apollo. Father-in-law to Walter Owino, Elly Omondi, Daniel Chibata and Margaret. Grandfather to Fidel, Sheril, Bruce, Delvin, Emmaculate, Olive, Sheyzanne among others.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital Morgue-Milimani, Kisumu on Friday 2nd June 2017 for a requiem Mass at St. Sylvester’s Madiany Catholic Church then to his home in Uyoma Katweng’a, Agege Village for night vigil and prayers.The burial Will be held on Saturday 3rd June 2017 at his Homestead.

Father of Loise Njoki-Mbui Njeru Secondary (Embu), Chris Mburu – Kirinyaga County Assembly, Cecily Nyambura- UON,Teresiah Wangari – Gakuuni Girls Secondary and Abigael Njeri -Kangaru Girls Secondary. Father-in-law of Alex and Joseph. Grandfather of Jimmy, Happiness, joy and Amanda and Many others and great grandfather of many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Thiba-Soweto from 5 pm and Green Ficus Hotel- Ngurubani Mwea from 7 pm.The cortege leaves Mwea Mission Hospital (Karira) on Saturday 3rd June 2017 at 9pm for funeral service and burial at Mikimaini Gathigiriri – Mwea.

It’s with deep sorrow we announce the sudden death of Loise Njeri Mwangi. Daughter of the late Mwangi Kamau and Wangui Mwangi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Grant Leisure Hotel on Kangundo (King’oris) and Joska Complex Plaza – Nyamakima.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 2/6/2017 at 7 am. The burial will be at her parents home at Geta Bush, Plot No.7, Nyandarua. Service will be held at the graveside.

Daughter-in-law of the late Martin Oyugi and the late Elizabeth Oyugi of Lwero, Siaya County. Sister of the late Mary, Monica, Joseph, George, Michael, Anna, Mercy, Peter, Ciciler among others. Mother of Kendal Cornel, Kieran Martin, Kiara Bakhita and Kinnia Magdalene. Sister in-law of Charles, Silverias, Vincent, Bonface, Frank, Everline, Mary, Elizabeth, Vio, Alice, Eunice, Rose, Maurine, Caro, Christine, Rose among others.Aunty of many.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 2nd June 2017 at 6.00am for a memorial service at Chiromo  Mortuary Chapel then proceeds for overnight stay at the family home in Lwero.The funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 3rd June 2017 at Lwero village, Doho West sub location,Ugenya, Siaya County.

Husband of Marjorie Wanjiku father of Dennis Wanjau, Brian Muchina (Arch Bishop Ndingi High School) and Eddie Mbugua (High Peak Academy). Son of the late Mathew Muchina and Mary Wanjiku.
Son-in-law of the late Joseph and Angelina Wamwea. Brother of Wambui, Margaret Mbugua, Wairimu, Chege, Njambi, Mburu and John. Brother-in-law of Beatrice, Peter, Michael, Rose and Janet. Uncle of many.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home (Nairobi) on Friday 2nd June 2017 at 8.00 am for burial services at ukuma Cemetery along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway in ri Division, Kiambu County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on June 1 , 2017 at 7am for her
Eldoret home. There will be a church service for mama at Faith Baptist Church,
Eldoret June 1, 2017 in the afternoon. Funeral service and burial will be held at her
farm in Soy on Saturday June 3, 2017.

Esther Njeri Njenga

We the family of the late Esther Njeri Njenga and the larger Mundia family, would like to thank the Almighty God for giving us our family Matriarch for the last 97 years, indeed she was blessed with a fruitful life, spanning close to a century for which we are truly grateful.
We wish to take this opportunity to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our relatives, in-laws, friends and neighbours, for surrounding us with your love and care during our time of bereavement. We were touched by your calls, personal visits, financial, spiritual and moral support.
We would like to thank the PCEA Bahati Martyrs Parish for the communion and prayers, with her during her lifetime. We would like to thank Rev Albert Karanja and together with PCEA Church Elders for leading the funeral and memorial services at home.
We would also like to thank the ACK Church leadership for the use of the facilities at All Saint’s Cathedral for the funeral committee meetings and Rev Joseph Kamau for leading the prayer sessions.
We would like to thank all the individual members of the funeral organizing committee and Canon John Wairumbi and Patrick Marekia for chairing the meetings that culminated in the successful arrangements for the funeral.

The cortege leaves Muriranjas Hospital mortuary (Murang’a County) on Friday 02/06/2017 at 9: 00 AM for a church service at ACK ST. Marks Church Gatara (Murarandia location).Thereafter the burial will take place at his farm in Gaturi (Gatara village)at 2:00pm.

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the passing on of Mary Kemunto Gikenyi which occurred on 22/05/2017, beloved wife of Geofrey Juma of N.S.SF. She hailed from Masis Village, Nyamache Kisii County. Sister of Dick, Henry, Joshua, Nyamoita, Benard and Geofrey. Daughter in-law of the late Charles Lubao and Mayi Dinah. Sister in-law of Jane, Damaris, Mary, Gladys, Emily and Gesare both of Nyamache (Masisi). Also sister in-law of Fridah, Ronald, Mandah, Jesica, Claire,Violet, Mary, Mlongo, Liam, Evicar, George and Many others from Kakamega. Cousin of Kefah, Isaac, Richards, Ogegas, Gladys Sota, Kindo and all the Omwanchas.

Friends and relatives have been meeting at her-residence in Komarock Sect I and the final contributions will be today 31/05/2017 at Garden Square to offset funeral expenses starting 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday to Bungoma and burial will be on Saturday 03/05/ 017 starting 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
