It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and ultimately demise of Mzee Mr. Charles Patrick Oywer on Thursday 18th May 2017.
Upto the time of his death, he was working at the Kenya Meteorological Department Eldoret airport station as a Met. Superintendent.
Husband to Risper Atieno. Father to Maurice Linet Achieng’, Dolphine Akinyi, Collins Oywer, Purity Adhiambo, Erick Omondi, Hellen Akeyo and Lillian Akoth of Sinanga Girls. He was born of mzee, Festo Owiti Muga and the late mama Phelister Apiyo of Uyoma Katweng’a. Brother to Joshua, Margaret, Miriam, Jectone, the late Jotham Ogot, late Jekonia and Apollo. Father-in-law to Walter Owino, Elly Omondi, Daniel Chibata and Margaret. Grandfather to Fidel, Sheril, Bruce, Delvin, Emmaculate, Olive, Sheyzanne among others.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital Morgue-Milimani, Kisumu on Friday 2nd June 2017 for a requiem Mass at St. Sylvester’s Madiany Catholic Church then to his home in Uyoma Katweng’a, Agege Village for night vigil and prayers.The burial Will be held on Saturday 3rd June 2017 at his Homestead.

We would also like to thank the ACK Church leadership for the use of the facilities at All Saint’s Cathedral for the funeral committee meetings and Rev Joseph Kamau for leading the prayer sessions.
