Elizabeth Apiyo Okumu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Elizabeth Apiyo Okumu which occurred in Nairobi on 19th May 2017 after a very short illness. Loving wife of Stephen Otieno Oyugi. Daughter of the late Richard Okumu and the late Gaudensia Nyaoro of Kamrembo Siwandhe. Step daughter of Anjeline Okumu. Daughter-in-law of the late Martin Oyugi and the late Elizabeth Oyugi of Lwero, Siaya County. Sister of the late Mary, Monica, Joseph, George, Michael, Anna, Mercy, Peter, Ciciler among others. Mother of Kendal Cornel, Kieran Martin, Kiara Bakhita and Kinnia Magdalene. Sister in-law of Charles, Silverias, Vincent, Bonface, Frank, Everline, Mary, Elizabeth, Vio, Alice, Eunice, Rose, Maurine, Caro, Christine, Rose among others.Aunty of many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at the family house in Doonholm Estate.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 2nd June 2017 at 6.00am for a memorial service at Chiromo  Mortuary Chapel then proceeds for overnight stay at the family home in Lwero.The funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 3rd June 2017 at Lwero village, Doho West sub location,Ugenya, Siaya County.
