Adoring Dad of Charles Muriithi & Racheal Wanjiru, Esperanza Wanjiku of Brand Kenya, Edward Munene, Ann Nyaga of ESACIPAC – KEMRI & James. Nyaga, Olivia Njeri of Effort Junior School &Late David Irungu and Antony Gicheru of Platinum Credit. Loving son of the late Zachary Gicheru and the late Marcelina Watiri. Brother of Lawrence Njigoya, Scholastica Wamutira and the late Peter Muciimi. A cherished Grandpa of Leah Nyakio, George C. Mundia, George D. Mundia, Hastings Njeru; George E. Mundia, Abigael Merl, Humphrey Muriithi and Cynthia Gicheru. Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mbiri village, Kirinyaga and Ambassador Hotel, I st floor, Rm 115 starting at 5.30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Kibugi funeral home on Wednesday 12th April 2017 and mass will be held at Maria Consolata Mbiri Catholic church from 12 noon and thereafter the body to be interred at his farm in Mbiri.

Grandpa of Ongata, Nyabonyi, Nyabuti, Rose, Harrison, Lameck Edna, Isaboke, Gladys, Obonyo, Richard, Fred, Ogecha, Anna, Edward, Penina, Freddy, Mercy, Lucille, Darrell and many more and great grandpapa of many. Brother of Monyancha, Motari, Nyangwono, Osoro, Nyagechanga, Kerubo, Magoma, Gechemba and Marang’a (all late). Brother-in-law of Boera,- Ngoge, Nyanduko, Moraa, Kemuma, Mwango, Nyangweso and Marita. Main fund raising to be on Tuesday 11/04/17 at Professional Centre 2nd floor Spm.The cortege leaves Hema Hospital on Thursday 13/04/2017 for a church service and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his Gesusu, Chibwobi village (Nyaribari Masaba) on Friday 14/04/17.

Shamrock Gichuki Gathondo

We are sad to announce the passing on of Shadrack Gichuki. Son of late Stephen Gathondu and Jane Gathigia which occured on 5th April 2017 after a struggle with illness. Beloved husband to Monica Waititu Gichuki.
Brother of Shelmith Waruguru Muriithi, Grace Wangari and Joseph Kamau. Father of Mary Muthoni-Njau,Patrick Gathondu, Esther Gathigia, the late Lydia Wanjira Kara*, Rose Wambui Kiama, Ann Waruguru Mwangi, Samuel Maina and Peris Wanjiku Warnbugu (UK). He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Magomano Hotel Nairobi and at his farm in Githuthi village in Mukurweini Sub County.

The cortege leaves Mathari Mission Hospital Nyeri on 12th April 2017 at 8 a.m. Funeral service will be at St Shadrack Gich Gathondu
Joseph Catholic church Kimondo and thereafter burial at his farm in Githuthi Village Mukurweini Sub county.

 It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of our, beloved father Mwalimu Stephen Kariithi which occurred in the night of 9th April 2017.

Son of Jacob Kinuthia and Sarah Kaabari. Husband of Elizabeth Nkuene. Father of Albert Mwiti (Nairobi), Silvester Kithaka (Stallion Garage Nairobi), Josphat Kithinji (Principal Wamba Boys’ Samburu), Euphemia Kagendo (Thairu Principal Sasura Girls’ Marsabit), Dorcas Kawira (Meru), Alfonzo Koome (Streamlan Solutions, Nairobi) Adrian Muthomi (Teacher Gaturi Primary School) and Desderio Kiogora (Infosystems Engineering, Nairobi). Father-in-law of Jane Karimi Mwiti DoD, Julia Kanugu Kithaka, Cecilia Kiende Kithinji, James Thairu Kariuki (Principal Iruma Secondary), Joseph Gatobu (Naivasha), Sarah Ngugi Koome (Streamlan group), Josphine Mukami Muthomi, Stella Kawira Kiogora and grand father of many.

She was the daughter of the late Mzee Ezekiel Ndii and Mama Jennifer C. Ndii. Beloved wife of Elizaphan Kaburi of Kagaani village, Kabuboni location, Chuka,Tharaka-Nithi County.
Mother of the late Enid Muthoni, Dennis Mutembei(Kenya Utalii College), Lenity Wanja, Jocyline Cirindi(KEMRI) and the late Nicholas Mutwiri. Grandmother of Linda Murugi amongst others. Great-grandmother of Delma Tania. Sister of Mutegi Ndii, Joyce Mbaka, Franklin Mbuba Ndii (formerly of Kenya Utalii College and Director of Tourism Finance Corporation), Evelyn Mbae and Purity Gitonga. Aunt of Kellen Ndii-Kibe and Martin Mugambi amongst others.

Meetings are taking place at San Valencia View Park Towers Nairobi and at her Kagaani home daily from 5.00 pm. Funeral service will take place at P.C.E.A Kagaani Church on Thursday 13th April 2017 from10.00am and burial thereafter at her Kagaani home.

Daughter of Esther Wambui Mutembei and the late Laban Mutembei Kabui of Kagundu-ini village, Nyeri County. Beloved mother of Morgan Timothy Githinji and Jean Linda Wambui. Grandmother of Ian. Sister of Kabui Mutembei, Reuben Mutembei, Peris, Martha Muringo, William Ndirangu, Joe Mutembei, Mwangi Mutembei, Muthoni Githinji and Maina Mutembei. Sister-in-law of Wanjiru Kabue, the late Mary Kabue, Wangari Kariuki, Wangari Ndirangu, Ann Turu, Margaret Wanjiru Mwangi, Githinji Ndiritu, and Wangu Maina. Aunt and grandmother of many.

We regret to announce the death of Mzee Silas Ngowa Ziro, which occurred on 7th April, 2017 in Mambrui, Malindi.

Husband of the late Nazi Ngua and the late Rachel Ngowa. Father of the late Nyevu Ngowa, Tabu Ngowa, John Ziro (Marafa), Sidi Ngowa, Kasichana Ngowa, Peter Ziro (Bamburi Beach Hotel), Stephen Masha (Office of the Controller of Budget, Nairobi), Josphat Barakh Ngowa (Kenya Police), the late Mali Ngowa and Graham Ngowa (Kenya Police).

Father-in-law of among other; Beatrice, Grace, Ruth Laibon-Masha (UNAIDS) and Christine Teka (Kenya Police).

The late Silas Ngowa will be laid to rest on 15th April, 2017 at his farm in Bore Taura, Marafa Location. The funeral service will begin 11.00 a.m.
