It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. David Lubanga formerly of Telkom Kenya which occurred on January 28th 2017 at Lumino Hospital, Kakamega.

Son of the late Samson Mukuyia and Magret Okose. Husband of Rosebella Lubanga of CGH Kakamega. Father of Sylvia, Sammy, and Cynthia.

The funeral service was held at CITADEL Salvation Army Church Kakamega on Thursday, February 9th 2017 and the body was moved to his house in Joyiand Kakamega where the burial will take place on Saturday, 11th February 2017.

May God Rest His Soul in Eternal Peace. Amen

The cortege leaves City Mortuary on Saturday 11th February 2017 at 8am for burial service at Lang’ata Cemetery.

Last born son of the late Pastor David Ngeti and the late Philes Munyiva. Husband of Jackline Syokau. Father of Emmanuel Ngeti and Alicia Munyiva.

Brother of Joel Mbai, Grace Mbula, Damaris Muthue, Rebecca Kyulu, Ndulu Mutinda, Patrick Kasese, Erastus Kasese (Khetshi Dharamshi), Dominic Nzomo (Khetshi Dharamshi) and Pastor Alex Muthama.

Family and friends and well wishers are meeting at Sahara City/Tents next to Total Petrol Station (Choma Zone) along Mombasa Road, daily from 5.30pm and at his home in Kasaini Village, Mutituni location for funeral and burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Thursday 16th February 2017 at 9am to his home. Funeral ceremony shall be held on the same day 16th February 2017 at his home in Kasaini Village, Mutituni Location, Machakos County.

Husband of Joyce Mwende Wambua, Father of Francis and Joseph. Adored brother of the late Muema, Mboya (Min of Agriculture, Kitui), Tito, Peninah Martha (National Youth Service) and the late Francis. Nephew of Mrs. Mungai Muinde and Mrs. Makasi Kitheka. Son-in-law of Mulalya Makau. Cousin of Mwende (C.I.D. Hqs), Muusi, Rosa, Mulwa, Margaret, Ken, Muimi, Ndusya, Kamuti and Mary John among others. Uncle of many.

There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 8th February, 2017 at Hotel Mercury – Nairobi starting from 6.30 pm.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Mercury Hotel, his rural home Kauma and Mukinye, Eastleigh for burial arrangements.

Son of Zablon Mbugua and Esther Njambi. Brother of Eunice Wanjiru Ng’ang’a, Rahab Kabura Njenga, the late Damaris Gachege Micobo, Gladwell Muthoni Gathu, Daisy Migina Mwangi, Richard B. Mbugua Rev. Judy Mbugua, and the late Edward Muchene. Husband of late Njambi Matumbi Kahara and Agatha Wangeci. Father of the late Ngotho Kahara & Cecilia Kahara, Sally Njambi & Ngari Mahihu, Anna Njambi & Michael Burroughs, Stephen Njoroge, the late Michael Wanderi & Sandra Kahara, Sharon Njambi & Stephen Echaria. Grandfather of Wairimu (Nimo), Eric Muchoki, Chris Kahara, Ashley, Arielle, Michael Mbugua, Makeba Njeri and Miki Wangeci. Great grandfather of Wendoh.

Prayers and meetings will be held on Friday 10th (All Saints Cathedral) at 6pm, Monday 13th (Nairobi Club) at 6pm and Tuesday 14th (All Saints Cathedral) at 6pm. Meetings will also be held at his Ndumbuini home from 2 to 6pm daily. A service will be at his Ndumbuini home, on Sunday 12th beginning at 2pm.The Memorials Service will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 16th February at 12pm and thereafter proceed for burial at Lang’ata Cemetery at 2pm.

Sister of Rose, Wairimu, James, Simon, Dennis, Muthoni, Mumbi, the late Wangari and Alice. The cortege leaves Muriranja’s Hospital Mortuary Murang’a County on Tuesday 14th February at 10am. Thereafter the burial service will take place at ACK St Paul’s Kiaguthu at 11am followed by interment at her home in Kiagithu Village.

Appreciation

We the family of James Muhindi Kaharuka wish to thank the Almighty God for the life and time of Jimmy who went to be with the Lord on 7th January 2017.
