It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Stephen Githinji Njuru of Manipal International Printing Press Limited on 10th December 2016, during the tragic Karai, Naivasha, accident.

Son of the late Lay Leader Peter Njuru Kioria and Deconess Phoebe Njoki Njuru of Thuita Village, Murang’a County.

Loving husband of Leah Wanja, Devoted father of the late Peter Njuru, Phoebe Njoki, Kennedy Gichuhi, Joyce Wambui and Izaura Wanja. Grandfather of Chelsea, Melvin, Jaden and late Steve. Brother of Edwin Kioria, Salome Karumba, Catherine Kioi, Naomi Kimotho, Lawrence Gathiga, Keziah Kimani, Jane Kimani, John Kanguru Njuru, Nicholas Njoka and Eutycus Wambugu Njuru. Much love nephew, cousin and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Tuala, after Nazarene University, Kajiado County, and at Thuita Village, Mathioya Sub-County in Murang’a County.

There will be a memorial service on 16th January 2017 at ACK St John Church Tuala at 2pm, and the burial service will be held at ACK St. Barnabas Church at 10am Thuita Village, Mathioya Sub-County in Murang’a County on the 17th January 2017 and thereafter burial will be at his farm in Thuita Village.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Esther Wanjiru Thethere (Formerly of Miracle Timber – Kiambu) after an illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Kanyiri Iregi and Miriam Wamaitha Kanyiri. Beloved wife of James Thethere Kuria.

Loving mother of Muthoni, the late Kuria, Miriam, John, Shikoh and Trizah.

Daughter in law of the late Joseph Kuria and Jane Muthoni. Sister of Gathoni, Wacera, the late Iregi, Wambui, Njuguna, Waithera (USA), the late Sammy, Dube, Kariuki and Lucy (USA). Sister in law of Teresa, Ndung’u, John, Monica, Nancy, Mary and Margaret.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Furaha Workshop Centre – Kiambu starting from 6pm. There will be a fundraising at the same venue on Sunday 15th January 2017.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on Tuesday 17th January 2017 at 9am for the funeral service and burial at their home in Engashura, Nakuru.

Beloved husband of Isabella Waithera Kiume of Old Mutual. Devoted father of Alan, Tina, Katee and Ruth.

Son of the late Joseph Kiume Kioko and Mary Ngonyo. Son in law of Patrick Njenga and Cecilia Wairimu Njenga.

Brother of Daniel, Laban, Kumbu, Mwatu and Miriam. Brother in law of Jane, Mary, the late Katile, Jennifer, Mbithe, Wainaina (Kiume Kioko Company), Njambi, Njeri among others. Uncle of Ngala, Derrick, Peter, Rita, Brian, Magda, Joe, Mukui, Katee, Romeo, Roman, Ian, Brian, Abigail among others. Nephew of Grace, the late Esther, Molly, Mwitiki Kioko among others.

There will be a memorial service at Fellowship Baptist Church (Opposite Mombasa Technical University – Polytechnic) on Friday 13th January 2017 starting at 9am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Machakos) on Saturday 14th January 2017 at 8am. Funeral and burial service will be held at the Kiume Farm, Kitandi Village, Watema Location, Kee Ward, Makueni County on the same day starting from 11am.

Daughter of the late Mugo wa Ngecu and the late Grace Wairimu Mugo. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Githung’a Kibithe. Loving mother of Magdaline Gathoni Kuria, Grace Wairimu Kuria, Jane Wangari Gathumbi (Muguru Primary School), Lucy Nyambura Kabugi (Westiands Primary School), Faith Waruguru Khahi, Samuel Mugo (Nakuru), Mary Njeri Mukuna, John Kibithe (Nakuru), Rose Waiyego Mwiti (Thika) and Caroline Wangui Miano. Sister of Zacharia Mwangi (Wanjerere), Esther Nyambura (Wanyororo), Maria Wangui (Kiawambogo) and Mary Njeri Muriithi (Nyagatugu).

She is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 6 pm at her Langa Langa residence (SideWay Hotel), Nakuru and at her Kiawambogo, Kangema home daily.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Friday 20th January 2017 at 6am for a Requiem Mass at Kiawambogo Catholic Church and thereafter Burial at her Kiawambogo Home in Kangema Sub-County, Murang’a County.

Wife of Professor Jacob Ogweno Midiwo (University of Nairobi). She was mother of Bruce Waringa Midiwo (Kenya Methodist University) and Gary Nyadundoo Midiwo (Nairobi Flight Training Ltd).

Daughter of the late Mzee Noah Juma and Mama Phelesia Juma. Sister of the late Alice Ogada, George Juma, the late Tom Juma, Juma Ojuok, Eunice Juma, Edgar Juma, John Juma, Jackline India Okanda, Stephen Juma, Dr Bernard Juma and the late Mary Ochuono.

Daughter in law of the late Samson Midiwo Nyamonde and the late Margaret Waringa Midiwo. Sister in law of the late Festo Odima Midiwo, Julia Midiwo, Owino Okwero, Mary Aoko Midiwo Odembo, Dr George Jalang’o Midiwo, the late Jeniffer Akinyi Midiwo, Hon Washington Jakoyo Midiwo (MP), and the late Pamela Aketh Osoro.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary at 9am on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 for service at St Francs ACK Church in Karen at 10am. The body will leave her Karen Home at 7am on Friday, Januaey 20th, 2017 for her final resting place at their home in Mabinju Village, Gem Rera on Saturday, January 21, 2017 after a final service by Reverend Archbishop Habakuk Onyango Abogno of the Church of Christ in Africa.

Son of the late Cornel Ondiek Mbemre and the late Leonida Owire. Husband of the late Priscilla Aoko and Madam Marceline A Ondiek. Brother of the late Gaudensia Andiego, Jenifa Anjejo, late Tom Miyawa, Rev Charles Ondiek, Elly Ondiek, Joash Ondiek, Joshua Ondiek, Barack Ondiek, Festo Ondiek and the late Joseph Abong’o (Ratego).

Father of the late Maxwell Magati, Dan Magati, late Lillian Magati, Victoria Magati, Bethwei Magati, Geofrey Magati, Steve Magati (Britam), Elphas Magati (Migori County Government), Godfrey Magati (Unilever), Dickens, Allan Magati, Donald, Lucy, Vincent, George, Linet, Leonard. Father in-law of Peris, Joyce, Cecily, Sarah, Esther, Lilian, Grace and josephine. He has left behind 39 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Port Florence Mortuary, Kisumu on Tuesday 17/01/2017 at 2pm for a Requiem service at Ondiek PAG Church Kisumu then an overnight vigil at his home.
