The Franciscan Sisters of St Joseph Asumbi regret to announce the death of our beloved Sister Bridged Ongalo Ombiri which occurred on 22/10/2016 at Christa Marianne Mission Hospital, Kisii. 
Daughter of the late Mzee Herman Ombiri Oketch and the late Mama Veronica Ngoko Ombiri of Sagero village, Migori County. She was born in 1935. She was the 4th born to Mzee Ombiri family. They were seven in the family in this order 4 brothers and 3 sister – John Ombiri, Theresia Ombiri, Angeline Dede Ombiri, Sister Bridgid Ombiri, Didacus Ombiri, Mr Andrew Ombiri, Augustinus Agwanda both (deceased) and Joshua Okelo Ouma and step brothers Sabianus Mitta Oketch and George Odhiambo Agwanda. 
Sisters-in-law; Nelly Agwanda, Lucia Agwanda, Pamela Obeto, Mary Obeto both (deceased) and Adah Akeyo Oketch. 
The cortege leaves Christa Marianne Mission Hospital, Kisii on Monday 14/11/2016 for reception mass at St Theresa’s Mother House Chapel at 4.30 pm. 
Funeral and burial mass will take place on Tuesday 15th November 2016 at St Theresa’s Catholic Church Asumbi Parish at 10am. 
Thereafter burial at Asumbi Cemetery.

He leaves behind three widows: Dr. Beatrice N. Shikuku (Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology), Jacinta Anyanga (Kenya Airports Authority) and Mary Khamala (Mumias Sugar Co Ltd).
Father of Hezron (deceased), Samora, Adeji, Andeso, Yuri, Adrian, Leone, Flora and Nikita.
