Beloved husband of Dorine Okumu formerly of High Court of Kenya, Nairobi. Father of Erick Okumu of U.S.A, Nicholas Okumu, Lawi Okumu, Wolfgang Okumu of Machakos and Kathorina Okumu Odhiambo of Pinnacle Group. Brother of the late Paulina, Gilbert Okello, the late Okoth, Ndede of Nairobi County Council, Wilfrida, Dr. Ndede of Kenyatta University, Sospeter of Sugar Directorate and Dennis Ndede. Son-in-law of the late Olela Agar and the late mama Pricilla. Brother-in-law of Clarice, Mary, Phoebe, Martha, Benter, Katherine, John Ojweke, Nandi, John Olela, and Mildred. Father-in-law of David (Abuogo) Odhiambo of Schneider Electric. Grandfather of Craig, Glen, Deseree and Delroy. Uncle of the 2618/1946 – 24/05120 I 7 late Auma, Lavenda, Joshua, Paulina, Rume, Shadrack, Stanley, Joshua, Kevin, Eddie, June, Louisa, Nicole, Crystal, Elvis, Eugene, Sharon, Noel, Moral, Biron and Mzee.
Burial will be on 17th June, 2017 at his home, Achego village, Songhor East sub-location, Tamu location Muhoroni Sub-county. The body is lying at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral ome. Family members and friends meet daily at his Ongata Rongai house off Umoja road. There will be a major fundraising in aid of funeral expenses on Friday 9th of June 2017 at all Saints Cathedral.
