In Loving Memory
12th Dec. 1985 — 5th Nov. 2017 & 1st Oct. 1992 — 15th Jan. 2017
One year on.
Nothing can ever take away the love a heart holds dear, fond memories linger every day. Remembrance keeps you near, looking back with memories upon the paths you trod. We cherish the hours we had with you and leave the rest to God.
Remembering you on this day, comforted by so many memories in our hearts for those who loved you. You will always be there, you are not forgotten nor will you be. No one can fill your vacant place.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
Although death has separated us physically, faith and love have bound us eternally. Though we cannot see and touch you, we know you are here though. We feel the warmth of your smiles, silent thoughts invoke secret tears and keeps your memories ever dear.
God took you home, it was his will but in our hearts you still live.
Fondly remembered and missed by your father Vincent Wekesa, mother Flora Wekesa, brother Victor Wekesa, In-laws, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Forever we will treasure your great personality, witty sense of humour, unmatched generosity and infectious laughter.
A commemorative function will be held on Saturday, 24th November 2018 at 10.00am at the family home in Marula Village, Lugari Sub-County, Kakamega County.
Psalms 34:18 The Lord is close to those whose hearts are breaking; he rescues those who are humbly sorry.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
