Peterson Micah Nyambare

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of end’s will that we announce the demise of Peterson Micah Nyambare of the Parliamentary Service Commission on Tuesday 4th November, 2025 following an illness. Peterson was a respected public servant whose professional life exemplified honesty, self-discipline and a steadfast devotion to serving the community

He was a dear son of the late Naftali Onsongo Nyambare and the late Jeliah Nyanduko, a loving husband of Ruth Nyanchama Onchiri, dedicated father of Lachariah Onchiri and Elizabeth Kerubo.

Brother of Samuel Onchieku, Grace Nyagucha, the late Bernard Keango, Pacifica Moraa, Shadrack Ondiba, Thomas Orare, late Kemuma Nyambare, Duke Kondo, late Damacline Kerubo, Jackline Nyambare, the late Everline Bitutu and Japheth Onsongo.

Son in-law of the late Onchiri and Yunuke Biyaki. Brother in law of Benson Kombo, Reuben Ombasa, Joshua Onchiri, the late Elizabeth, Daniel Nyabuto and Charles Onchiri.

Peterson was a nephew of John Ondieki, the late Onyoni, the late Mogire, the late Marita, Isaac, Onsomu, Obwangim Kamanda, Peninah Nyaboke, Nyakambi, Kemuma, Eusaphia, Monyangi, the late Nyanchama, the late Hellen, the late Barongo, the late Nyaboke, the late Nyangweso, the late Nyakerario and the late Nyambare.

He was a cousin of Jane, Ogega, Michira, Matunda, Nyangau, Florence, Edward, Pacifica Rioba, Pacifica and Nyakundi.

Uncle of Evans Onchieki, Everline Bitutu, Monica Boyani, Celestine Ondiba, Sylvia Orare, Victor Keango, Millicent Moraa, Sharon Bonaneri, Nicolas Mokaya, Brian Odira, Kamanda, Felix Moturim, among others.

He hails from Kiobonyo Village, Marani Sub County, Kisii County.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Kamulu for the funeral arrangements.

The family has organized a fundraising on Tuesday 18th November, 2025 at the Professional Centre from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

The cortege leaves the Montezuma Funeral Home for the funeral service to celebrate his life on Wednesday 19th November, 2025 at the Seventh Day Adventist Central Church, Nairobi starting from 11.30 am. Burial will take place on Friday 21st November, 2025 at his home in Mosotho, Kisii County.
