Pius Njoroge Kairo

It is with humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Pius Njoroge Kairo which occurred after a long illness bravely fought.

He was a loving husband of Lucy Wambui Njoroge. Father to Robert Kairo Njoroge & Esther Nyambura Kairo, Mumbi Njoroge and Ichung’wa Gichuki, Gathuo Njoroge and Jacklyne Mwihaki Njoroge. Son of the late Mwalimu Augustine Kairo Kamau and the late Elizabeth Mumbi Kairo and Son-in-law of the late Henry Gathuo Kago and the late Teresia Mwihaki Gathuo.

Brother of Roque Kamau Kairo, Joseph Njao Kairo, Francis Kariuki Kairo, Lt. Col. Thuo Kairo, James Kiarie Kairo all deceased and also brother of Teresia Njeri Kairo, Consolata Sister. Patricia Wairimu 07/05/1960 – 25/08/2019 Kairo, Mary Mukami Kinyanjui and Lucy Wanjiru Mwaura. He was a brother-in-law of many. He was a doting grandfather of Alvin Njoroge Kairo and Gichuki Ichung’wa.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his residence in Kanunga Village in Kiambu County 6:00pm.

The cortege shall leave the Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 30th August 2019 at 8am for a Funeral Mass at 10 am at Mary Immaculate Catholic church, Kanunga and he shall thereafter be interred at his farm nearby in Kanunga village.
