It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rachel Wanjugu Kuira on 29th December 2025 at Aga Khan University Hospital after a bravely borne illness.
She was the beloved daughter of Geoffrey Kuira. and Grace Gathigia of Nyahururu. She was the adored sister of Agnes VVanjiru Kuira and Gladys Wambui Kuira.
Loving aunt of Keith Kuira, Rodney Ngari, Neema Gathigia, Angel Gathigia among others.
Granddaughter of the late Daniel Baru and Rachel Wanjugu Baru and the late John Ngari and Wanjiru Ngari. Cousin, niece, and friend of many.
Rachel was a valued colleague at UNICEF Kenya where she served as a Senior Executive Associate.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers at the Nairobi Chapel Kiambu Road church grounds (Behind Quickmart Thindigua) from 5.00prn till Monday 5th January, 2026.
The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home (Northern Bypass) on Wednesday. 7th January 2026 at 7.00am for the funeral service at PCEA Gathehu Church grounds followed by interment at the family home in Gathehu, Karatina.
