In humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Retired Elder John Ndung’u Makibia.
Son of the late Joseph Makibia and Retired Elder Esther Njambi.
Beloved husband of Nancy Wangui Ndung’u. Father of Joseph and Olive Makibia (USA), Samuel and Rosalia Mbugua (USA), Esther and Davies Nyamongo (USA), Caroline Njeri (USA), Joyce Wangui (USA), and James and Margaret Njung’e (KIAMBAA).
Brother of the late Joyce Wangui Kopejo, the late Irene Wanjiru Muraguri, James Niunge Makibia. the late Keziab Nieri Ngugi, the late Eunice Njoki Mburu, Grace Mwihaki Njenga and Peter Gatonye Makbia. He was a beloved grandfather to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Muguga, Kabete Constituency from 4:00 p.m.
The cortege will depart PC.E.A. Kikuyu Funeral Home (Thogoto) at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday 27/11/2025, there after a funeral service at PCEA Kiambaa Church from 10:00 am. followed by the burial at his Farm in Kerwa, Kikuyu Constituency.
The Lord gave us John Ndung’u Makibia, and now He has called him home. May His name be praised.
