It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Richard Mutua Mulwa (Mutia), Retired teacher and former Deputy Principal Matheani Sec Sch, Makueni County which occurred on 28/09/2025 after a tragic road accident.

Husband of the late Veronicah Mbindu, Father of Joshua Mumanyi, Mirriam Makebah, Alexander Mulwa and Lilian Mwongeli. Father in-law of Liza Nyawira and Lisa Ndanu. Grandfather of Jabali, Lulu, Jasiri, Natasha and Reign.

Son of the late Titus Mulwa and the late Naomi Ndunge. Brother of George Kioko, Patrick Kyania, Dr.Clement Musyoka and Albert Mbithi. Stepbrother of Paul, Antony, David and others.

Brother in-law of Emma, Mary, late Patricia Kanini, Peter, Florence Mwende, Irene Nzavi and others.

Uncle of Sharon, Betty, Shem, Eric,Victor, Joy, Mutanu, Jariel, Adniel and many others.

Family and friends are meeting for burial arrangements at Norwich Union, Nairobi from 6:00 pm and at his home, Miw’ongoni village, Kenya-Israel, Machakos County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos on Friday ‘1 0/10/2025 at 8:00 am and thereafter for prayers and burial at his home Kenya-Israel, Miwongoni Village, Machakos County.
