Richard Omollo Achacha

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Richard Omollo Achacha which occurred on 11th December, 2016 at his home Opapo, Rongo Sub – County, Migori County.

Son of the late Lukio Achacha Omollo and the late Patricia Ajwang’ Olawo. Beloved husband of Rhoda Atieno Omollo of Kodero – Bara, Kamagambo. Father of Leonard (Makini Schools), Washington (Kangeso High School), Lucious (World Neighbhours), Patricia (Ruby Hardware), Sarah (Siranga Secondary), Mary (Rongo), Hanna (Emirates – Dubai), Eunice Miser (PKF) and Victor (Jubba Airways). Father in law of Luke Nyawade, Anne Marende, James Ogutu, Roseline Juma, George Kariuki, Rose Odack & Susan Njehia. Grandchildren: Ruth Nyabute, Wilson Ogutu, Richard Omollo (Babu), Annabelle Rhoda, Adrian Achacha, Richie Richard Achacha (Pappy), Jeanmarie Sarah, Richard Lucious, Lenny Junior, Elliana Amzi, Harvey and Rhoda Lucious. Nephew of Mzee Ombija and the late Goga, Yustino, Choka, Orinda, Otula and Gor. Brother of Zeddy, Odek, Ezra, Peter, Sammy, Bala, Phillip Ongoro, the Otula’s (Paul, Peter, Dr. Joshua & Babu), Ezron, Mwalimu Jonathan, Isaiah Onyango, Enos Onyango, John Omollo, Pastor Nick Onyango, Azaria, Omollo Gor, Mark (USA), Oloo Zablon, Oyare, Gideon Choka, Ouma Odawo, Late Elly, Charles Otula and others. Sisters: Affia, Jemima and Maggy (USA), Carren (UK), Jennifer-Janet, Adhiambo, Anna, Drusilar, Elizabeth, Pamela, Joyce, Peres, Otula, Florence Ng’iela, Pamela Owame, Agneta Odawo and late Teudora, Ruth, Abigael, Julia, Rosa and others. Nephew of Miriam and Late Hellen, Kerina, Leah, Sherry, Rhoda, Edwin Ochola, Obare Ochola and Late Jacob, Zebedy and Ouma of Gem Ulumbi among others. In-law of William Ouko (Bostwana), Abiud Owuor, Rt. Snr. Chief Arende and Late Elly, Joel,Ochilo among others.

The cortege leaves Rosewood Mortuary – Rongo – at 3pm on Thursday 22nd December, 2016 for his home Opapo Kong’udi Sub-location East Kamagambo Rongo Sub-County Migori for burial on Friday, 23rd December, 2016.
