It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Rosalind Muthoni Waithaka following a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Wandeto Gichohi and the late Murugi (Wanjiru) Wandeto.

Beloved wife of Simon Mwirigi Waithaka and mother of Nellie Njeri, Pauline Wanjiru, Rachel Wambui and Michael Waithaka. Mother in-love of Jesse Nanyamal, Machacha Muchiri and Gibson Kinyua.

Sister of Jane Wangari, the late Felix Mwangi, the late Bernard Weru, Catherine Wambura, Winfred Mumbi and the late Benson Kimondo (Ngatia).

Grandmother of Neema, Lekishon, Nkirote, Silantoi, Leilani, Njamba, Taraji and Njata. Niece, cousin, aunty and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Road on Friday 18th July 2025 at 8.00am to her final resting place in Kanderendu Village, Muranga.
