Roselyne Kibowen Tandui

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roselyne Kibowen Tandui of Kapchepsir, beloved wife of the late David Kibowen Tandui, which occurred on Monday, 9th February 2026.

She was a loving mother to Martha (Benonin), the late Alice, Julius (Mumias Co.), Peter (Kabarnet), Catherine (MOE), Rodah (Tenges), Nancy (KNH), and Joan (Kabarnet). She was a cherished grandmother to Sheila (POSTA), Irene (Ministry of Gender), Sirma (Ravine), Brian (Kajiado), Candy (AMREF University), Samantha (MEC High School), Jessica (Saudi), Edwin (Kabarnet), Kimberly and Babra (Ossen Girls), Faith and Kiboino (Kapropita Primary), Sharon (Atlanta, USA), Jeff (Chicago, USA), Cohen (Catholic University), Kiplenge (Sun and Shield), Kevin (Eldoret Polytechnic), Sandra (Maseno University), Stella (Kapropita Girls), Andrea (Riara University), Brandin and Chloe (White Star Academy), Ray (DeKUT University) , Ruby (Moi Girls Eldoret), and Randy (Sun and Shield).

She was mother-in-law to William Chemallan, Veronica Muthoki, Gladys Chelelgo, the late Julius Cheboiwodustin Kiptoo, Nicholas Chemelil, and Francis :-onoh. She was also a great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service and burial will be held today Friday, 20th February 2026 at her home Kapchep0- Village, KapropitaWard, Baringo County, starting at 8:00 AM.
