Rosemary Wangeci Waruingi (Wakagai)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Rosemary Wangeci Waruingi (Wakagai) that occurred on Wednesday, 30th July 2025.

She was daughter of the late Mwaura Kimani and Naomi Wamaitha.

Wife of the late John Waruingi. Mother of Margaret Njeri Waruingi (Thika).

Sister of the late Thomas Kimani and late Teresia Wanjiku.

Mother in-law of Duncan Chege Maina.

Daughter in-law of the late Joseph Kagai and the late Margaret Njeri. Sister in-law of the late James Njenga, late Esther Wanjiru, late Charles Kariuki, Leonard Mbugua, Mary Kimani, Damaris Kago, Priscilla Kinyua, Rose Njenga and Molly VVanjira.

Grandmother of Wesley Maina, Nick Waruingi and Alvin Mwangi. She was an auntie to many.

Family and relatives are meeting daily at Thika Kimathi Estate house No. 691 and at her home in Kagongo Village — Kihumbuini for prayers and funeral arrangements starting at 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home — Kabati on Thursday, 7th August, 2025 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and burial at Gatanga Sub-county, Kihumbuini Location, Kagongo Village starting at 10.00am.
