Ruth Vicky Mutsami Alumasa

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the sudden passing on of Ruth Vicky Mutsami Alumasa, formally of Ministry of Social Services, GOK, which occurred on 20th September 2025 at her home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Mutsami Alumasa, and devoted mother of Felix Alumasa,Vincent Alumasa, Eng. David Alumasa, Daniel Alumasa, Fred Alumasa (UK), Prof. John Alumasa (USA), Kenneth Alumasa, Jimmy Alumasa and Gladys Omwaka.

Daughter of the late Snr Chief Jimmy Elishama Nandwa and the late Pst Beatrice Liaka Nandwa. Daughter in-law of the late Saul Alumasa and the late Esther Shiyayo Alumasa.

Sister of Joan, Pst. Rebecca, Florence, the late joy, Lucy, the late Sammy, the late Rosebird, Lydia. Emma. Marceline, Tabitha (wife of Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya EGH), Naftali, Melissa, Lillian, Irene, Pauline, Judith, the late Atnas, Pst Patrick, Moses, Frida & Omwana wa Mwami Brown.

Sister in-law of Hezron and Evelyn. Sister in-law of Hezron, Alice, Evelyn, the late Paul, the late Thomas, the late Julius, and the late Eliakim.

Maternal aunt of Dickson, Ceaser, Doughty, Noel, Sammy, Jimmy, Okunda, Moses, Wafu and Harriet many others. Paternal Aunt of Edgar, Ngaira, Johnstone, Solomon, Muhenje and many others.

Fond grandmother,” Shosh” of, Faisal, Nimrod, Louis, Alison, lglecious, Lauryn, Leon’s, Carlos, Blessing, Roy, Miss Ellysse, Ethan, Khloe, Jessica, Shantel, Ryan, Shawn, Milan, Miguel, Migdal, Angela, Simba, Fred jnr, Kayla, Amari, Jayson, Braysondaydon, Natasha, Alden and Leyla.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence at place M. Lubao, Kakamega for prayers and support.

The cortege will leave Kakarnega Funeral Home on Friday 3rd October 2025, at 9:00 am for a requiem mass and overnight stay, at her home at place M, Kakunga, Kakamega, until 4th October 2025 where the burial will take place starting 9am.
