Sarah Amateshe Mutsotso

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Sarah Amateshe Mutsotso at 71 years, she hails from Ivonda, Kakamega, Mama Sarah passed away suddenly on 6th April, 2022, at Mukumu Hospital.

She is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas Mutsotso Muhati, and their seven (7) children, seventeen (17) grandchildren and two (2) great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings, Luis Nyangala, Fredrick Nyangala, Frank Nyangala, Esther Namukuru, Robert Nyangala and Japheth Onono.

Mama Sarah’s surviving children are Allan Muhati (Jacky), Evelyn Walubengo (John), Christine Myers (Loren), Agripina Aduma (Tom), Wilbroda Wilson (Alonzo), Felix Muhati (Jane) and Praxedes Muhati (Opeyemi).

She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Kevin Maina-Muhati, Cynthia Ongachi and Wayne Omwimwa; Nicholas & Elizabeth Walubengo; Margaret, Cynthia, Jacqueline & Michelle Odhiambo; Amanda, Lucinda & Sarah Aduma; Leanna Tilitei; Sarah & John Shimechero; Shola & Eniola Agboola, and she has reunited with her predeceased grandchildren, Timothy Aduma, Timothy Muhati, and Regina Shimechero. Her great-randthildren, Nathan and Makai, also survive her.

Mama Sarah will be laid to rest on 23rd April, 2022, at her home in Ivonda,Kakamega. A mass in celebration of her life will be held at 3:00pm on 21st Apri1, 2022, at Eregi Parish.
