Senior Sergeant Silas Enock Ndeda

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Senior Sergeant Silas Enock Ndeda, of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), which occurred on Sunday, 28th December, 2025.

He was the adoring son of the late Mwalimu Gideon Saul Ndeda and Dada Jane Mary Ndeda and Maurine Ndeda.

Nephew of Jimmy Okune, Ester Oduori, Dr. Johnmark Aloo, Tabitha Oduori, Irene Wandera, Dr. Teresa Aloo, Mary Obura, Edwin Mutanda, the late Edward VVandera, William Kona, Nelson Obura, Francis Nakholi, George Nakholi, David Nakholi, Dixon Oduori among others.

Brother of Winnie, Joan, Bernard, Tonny, Collins, Catherine, Michael, Andrew, Charles, Nora, Lydia, Peter, Jackline, Nelson, Alice and Matilda Ndeda.

Cousin of Mable, Dr. Timona, Newton, Collins, Jonathan, Leonard, Kendi, Wilberforce, Silas, among others.

Brother in-law of the late Joseph Silas Enock Ndeda Okeeno, David Omuruli, Violet, Dorcas, Isabella, Eunice, Emily among others. A cherished uncle and friend to many.

The body is at Mashujaa Funeral Home.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday, 8th January, 2026, at Kahawa Garrison, Nairobi, from 11.00 a.m. Burial will take place on Saturday, 10th January, 2026, at his rural home in Nyakhobi, Funyula, Samia, Busia County.
