Sr. Mary Aloysius Marcella Bosibori

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Sisters of Mary of Kakamega do announce the passing on of Sr. Mary Aloysius Marcella Bosibori who was born on 01/01/1933.

She was the daughter of the late Mzee Stanslaus Nyakina Kiaga and the late Mama Yosabia Kerubo Nyabongo of Asemba Village, Bonyachaire Sub-Location, Bornorenda Location, Kisii County, St. Andrew Kaggwa Suneka Parish Kisii Diocese.

Her siblings are; the late Ambrose Monyancha, Mrs. Sabina Mariachana, Mrs. Elizabeth Matabori, the late Salome, Lucia, Monica and Martha. Cousins are; Elinja Ornbiro, Wilfred Kiage, Ann Kwamboka, Sarah Kemunto, Samwel Ogero, Moturi Otieno, Selina Nyamboke, Esther Nyanchoka, among others.

Nephews are; the late Daudi Mokuwa, the late Richard Sitima, Cyril Amwoga, Stanslaus Kimanzi, Ladislaus Nyakina, Samwel Kerindo and Charles Morara, among others.

Nieces are; the late Hellen Nyanchama, Evaline Omaike, Mrs. Mary Magoma Mulama, Biria Gechemba, Esther Nyambate, Valentine Mwende, Gaudencia Amwoga, Yusebia Kerubo, Nella Amwoga, Mary Kemunto, Anneciata Kemunto and the late Lydia Marcella Bosibori Mbeti among others.

In-laws are; David Amwoga, Andrew Wantoni and the late Joseph Kimanzi.

The late had many grandchildren among them are; Fr. Edward Mulama of Christ the King Amalemba Parish, Juliana Mlama, George Mlama, Esther Matabori juniour, Elizabeth Matabori Juniour, Merline Sirengo, Lucy Khabai,Timothy Amwoga, Elvatic Joseph, Peace Arnani, Shantel Else, Rose Moraa among others. She had many great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Mortuary on Wednesday 22/10/2025 to SMK Mukumu Chapel at 3.00 PM for a Requiem Mass at St. Augustine SMK Main Chapel at 4:00 PM. Thereafter Vigil Masses at the same SMK Chapel.

The burial will be held on 23/10/2025 at SMK Mukumu Cemetery.
