Stephen Kabogo Ndegwa

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Stephen Kabogo Ndegwa of Mbari ya Igi Village, Komothai Location, who rested on Tuesday, 17th February 2026 after a short illness.

Son of the late Ndegwa Kang’ethe and the late Pauline Wanjiru Ndegwa. Step-son of the late Janet Wamuni Ndegwa.

Beloved husband of Lucy Wanjiru. Loving father of Brenda Wanjiru, Esther Wangari and Lucy Mwihaki.

Brother of the late George Kariuki, Anthony Kang’ethe, Mwihaki Kinyanjui, Jane Wambui and Joyce Wanjiku. Step-brother of the late Simon Kang’ethe, Wairimu Kamanu, Beatrice Wanjiku, the late Lydia Nyandia, the late Francis Kabogo, the late Esther Wambui, Mwihaki Mbugua and the late Fred Njoroge.

Son-in-law of the late Amos Mukundi and the late Esther Wangari. Brother-in-law of Eunice Syombua, the late Kinyanjui Kahugu, Dan Gitonga and Muiruri Njane.

The cortege leaves KU Referral Funeral Home on Tuesday, 24th February 2026 at 8.00A.M. The funeral service will be held at Thuita Primary School grounds at 11.00 A.M. followed by burial at his Farm in Thuita.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Komothai near PCEA Komothai Church from 4.00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.
