It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the sudden demise of Stephen Kennedy Omondi Odindo after a short battle with a brain tumor, on the 7th of October, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center, in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA.
Stephen, fondly known as “Jaboma”, was born on May 22nd, 1973 to Mama Jane Amollo Odindo and Henry Odindo, in Nairobi, Kenya. He leaves behind two cherished children, Robert and Hadassah.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Alice Esther Guya Omondi, and his sister, Lavender Adhiambo Odindo.
He is survived by his parents Mama Jane and Henry Odindo, brothers Paul, John, Buxtone,Tony, sister Judy, in-laws Caren and Zack, the late George, Judith, the late Eddy and Stephen Guya, among many other cherished family members.
A farewell service will be held on Thursday 20th November 2025, promptly from 10:30am at Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Rd, Nairobi.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 21st November, 2025 for burial on Saturday 22nd November, 2025 at the family’s rural home in Central Seme, West Kanyadwera, Kisumu County.
