We regret to announce the death of William Otuoma Alot on 16th July, 2025 at Bondo Sub-County Hospital. He was a retired Senior Film Officer with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Loving husband of the late Jocinta Akinyi. Father of the late Benedict Oduor and Marion Atieno.

Brother of Magaga Alot, the late Baros, Ojode, Joyce Ogonda, Jane Odera, Rose, and Isaiah.

Brother-in-law of Mary, Mary Baros, Rose, and Colletta.

Uncle of Barbra, Sandra Brogdon,Anvar, Hawi, Samuel, Sheryl, Sarah, Diana, Mildred, Roy, the late Felix, Mallorine, Don, the late Sharon, Lynette, Daisy, Abraham, Andronicus, Junior, Noela, Samantha, Latiffa, Nacel, Rehma, Makai, Zuri, Aria and others.

There shall be a funeral service and burial on Thursday 31st July, 2025 from 10.00 am. at his home in Ujwang’a Village, Utonga Sub-location, West Sakwa, Siaya County, Bondo Sub County.
