Beloved wife of the late Stephen Joseph Kioni, founder Secretary General of the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT). Beloved mother of George Kahugu Kioni, Waithaka Kioni, Kinya Kioni (Doc), Mbari Kioni (Advocate), Elizabeth Njahira Kioni (Texas), Margaret Wanjiru Kioni-Kinyanjui, Mary Wanjiru Kinyanjui (Texas), and the late James Thiongo Kioni and Edward Mungai Kioni. Much loved mother-in-law of Gathoni Kahugu, Rosemary Waithaka, Emmah Kinya and Kinyanjui Mwaniki. Sister of Florence Wambui Mwangi, Patricia Muthoni, Beatrice Nyokabi Gichuhi and the late James Thiong’o, Daniel Kamau, Emily Wanjiru, Rosemary Wanjiku, David Mugithi, Samuel Njoroge, Mary Magiri Muchai and Jane Njambi Gitahi.
Family and friends are meeting daily from 6pm at the Holy Family Basilica and at the Sagas Hotel on Thika Road as well as at her residence in Kiamwangi Village, Gatundu South. The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 18th November 2016 at 8am for a funeral service at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Kiamwangi at 12 noon and thereafter the burial at her Kiamwangi village residence.

Today (November 12, 2016) painfully marks one year since you crossed over to eternity. It still feels like it all happened yesterday! It is with deep sorrow and profound shock that we announce the promotion to glory of our Loving son Malcolm Mwanga Otuoma, who until his death was a first year student at JKUAT Karen campus (BBIT) Department. Former student of Riara Road Primary (2004 – 2011) and Nairobi School (2012- 2015).
Son of Hon. Dr Otuoma Paul Nyongesa MP Funyula Busia County and Mrs Cellina Mbaabu Otuoma (Mwanga Agrovet, Kisumu).
Brother of Angela Otuoma. Grandson to the late Chrispinus Nyongesa Otuoma’s family of Bunandi village Busia County and the late Mzee Erastus Mbaabu’s family of Maua in Igembe Sub County Meru County.
Funeral arrangements meeting and prayers will be taking place at United Kenya Club from 5.30pm Monday 14th November to Wednesday 16th November 2016. There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 16th November 2016 at UKC starting at 5pm to help offset medical and funeral expenses.
There will be a requiem mass at Holy Family Basilica on Thursday 17th November at 2pm. Burial will take place on Saturday 19thNovember 2016 at Bunandi village Funyula Constituency Busia county.

The Franciscan Sisters of St Joseph Asumbi regret to announce the death of our beloved Sister Bridged Ongalo Ombiri which occurred on 22/10/2016 at Christa Marianne Mission Hospital, Kisii. 
Daughter of the late Mzee Herman Ombiri Oketch and the late Mama Veronica Ngoko Ombiri of Sagero village, Migori County. She was born in 1935. She was the 4th born to Mzee Ombiri family. They were seven in the family in this order 4 brothers and 3 sister – John Ombiri, Theresia Ombiri, Angeline Dede Ombiri, Sister Bridgid Ombiri, Didacus Ombiri, Mr Andrew Ombiri, Augustinus Agwanda both (deceased) and Joshua Okelo Ouma and step brothers Sabianus Mitta Oketch and George Odhiambo Agwanda. 
Sisters-in-law; Nelly Agwanda, Lucia Agwanda, Pamela Obeto, Mary Obeto both (deceased) and Adah Akeyo Oketch. 
The cortege leaves Christa Marianne Mission Hospital, Kisii on Monday 14/11/2016 for reception mass at St Theresa’s Mother House Chapel at 4.30 pm.
