February 19th 1993 to November 16th 2016 

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Vitalis Shibwayia Muhatia which occurred on 16th November 2016 while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.
Captain Vee (as known by his family and friends) is the last born son of the late Athanas Muhatia Shibwayia and Mary Masitsa Muhatia of Lirhanda Village, Kakamega East Sub-County. Brother of Vincent, Erick, the late Mathews, Maximillah, Eunice, Faith, Ignatius and Michael.
Loving fiancée of Collete Magana. Brother in-law of Elishba, Pastor Leakey, Churchill, Fidelis, Anastacia and Esther. Cousin of the Lumalas’, Chimwanis’, Lisanzas’ and the Lijodis’. Nephew of Ayuma, Janet, Juliet, Hellen, Peris, Gladys, Margaret, Maurice, the late Muliamba, the late Otunga, Andrew, Makenzie, the late Misiko, the late Zacharia and John. Loving uncle of Reenah, Shannon, Ryan, Sydney, Sean, Lavender, Soledad, Amos, Malia, Jayden, Jayson, Liam, Bezaleel, Chantell and Ashley.
He was a former student at Mount Kenya Senior School and a continuing.student at Kenya School of Flying (Wilson) and United States International University (USIU), Nairobi.
The body is at Kenyatta University Mortuary, and will leave on 24th November 2016 for burial on 26th November 2016, at our rural home in Kakamega, Lirhanda Village.
 Friends and family members are meeting daily at Jacaranda Gardens, off Kamiti Road for burial and other arrangements. Your prayers and support is and will be highly appreciated.

It has been one lonely year since you left us ( November 20, 2015)  for your home in heaven.

Dearest Mama (Gogo),
Today marks one year since you suddenly departed from us. It feels just like yesterday when we listened to your stories, laughed and generally enjoyed having you around.
Not a single day passes without us thinking about you and missing you. Your spirit of love, forgiveness, family unity and devotion to Christ continues to hold us together and lives through us each day.
We, your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends, miss you deeply but we are consoled knowing you are now in a better place, up there with the angels, watching over us.
The entire community of Lolkeringet fondly remembers you for your great deeds that shaped our lives and that of the community.
The Lolkeringet AlC Church, of which you were instrumental in its construction, is due to be officially opened soon. We will forever be grateful to you for you left wonderful footprints in our hearts.

Son of the late Mr and Mrs Githenya Ng’ang’a of Muchungucha, Murang’a. Beloved husband of Edith Wairimu Ng’ang’a. Doting father of Doreen waithera Mukuria, Erick Gitau Ng’ang’a, Peter Ndegwa Ng’ang’a. Father in-law of Mukuria Ngamau and Bilha Wangari Gitau. ArGrandfather of Wanjiku Mukuria. He is a former Councillor of Nairobi Ngara ward.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday 24th November 2016 at 7am for funeral and burial service at his home in Gacharu, Kiharu Murang’a.
Family and friends will meet on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd November 2016 at 5.30pm at All Saints Cathedral for funeral arrangements.

Fr Peter Mwangi, Festus Muiruri, Paul Waweru, Judy Nyokabi and James Mburu. Father-in-law of Jane Nduta, Ann Mugure. Rose Wambui and Judy Kagure. Brother of the late Kabura Mbugua and the late Paul Waweru. Grandfather of many.
Relatives and friends are meeting every evening from 5.30p.m at the ERA EVA Restaurant along Monrovia Street near Nakumatt Lifestyle Nairobi, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Thika and at the deceased’s home at Kaha-ini sub-location.
The cortege leaves St. Mulumba Hospital Mortuary on Friday 25/1112016 at 8am followed by Requiem Mass and burial at his home.
