With a heavy heart, we the family and friends announce the passing on of Dr Erastus Mutegi Mukung’a (Ciank), after a brief illness.
Son of the late Charles Mukung”a and the late Charity Nkima.
Loving husband of the late Marina Adi and Mary Jane Kari (China University).
Loving father of the late Engineer Mugambi Mukung’a, Dr Charity Kawira (International institute of Tropical Agriculture), Eric Muthamia (Dial-a-mec), Brian Mwiti (Medical School, Egerton University and Valentine Ciomotho (Bright Rose Academy).
Father in law of Aneztine Mutjoni (Orbit Chemicals) and Christine Muthamia (Brandspeak (K) Ltd.
Loving grandfather 9f Eugene Mwenda, Imani Tugi, Jabali Mutegicand Fadhili Murithi.
An umcle , cousin, and great granddad of many.
Brother of Esther, Triza (deceased), Jane, Kangangi and Josephine.
Brother in law of Humphrey, Gitonga (deceased), Gitari, Aribira, Dedan, Jeremy, Maugi and Bishop Nyaga.
Friends and family are meeting daily in Nairobi at PCEA St Andrews Church at 5.30pm (except Saturday and Sunday) with special meeting at the same venue scheduled for Monday 14th November 2016 for friends who wish to contribute to his funeral expenses.
Family and friends are also meeting concurrently at Karandini Clinic, Mwonge, Chuka, daily from 4pm.
The cortege leaves Chogoria Hospital mortuary on Thursday 17th November 2016 for a funeral service at PCEA Ibiriga Church fr 10am.
Burial will follow thereafter at his Chuka home, Tharaka Nithi County.
