It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Jonas Zilmer Johansen announces his sudden and untimely death.
Jonas was born on December 4, 1985 in Skanderborg, Denmark, and migrated to Kenya with his family on March 1,1991. He was a geologist from University of Copenhagen, wildlife enthusiast and nature-lover, and became friends with people of all walks of life. Jonas lived an eventful and good life, which took him to the jungle of Cameroon, Greenland, Svalbard, the North Pole, and the tanzanite mines of Mererani among many other places on our Earth. He died on December 2, 2016 in Kikuyu.
Son of Ole Vestergaard Johansen & Ruth Akinyi Johansen and Annie Zilmer Ehrenreich & Jorgen Skov Andersen; brother to Anne Katrine, Sofle, Ida and Tedreagan; grandson of Else Johansen, Rose Apamo, Walther Ehrenreich, Anne Marie Drejer. The body was cremated at Hindu Crematorium, Kariokor, on Sunday December 11 and the close family will spread the ashes on selected places that Jonas loved in Kenya.
 A celebration of his life will take place at a memorial on the family farm near Oloosirkon/Tuala, past Nazarene University, on Saturday December 17 from 1pm to 4 pm and in Denmark by end of December.

It is with deep sorrow that we regret to announce the sudden death of our beloved Collins Kipkosgei Kipsanai, of Tourism Fund (Formerly CTDLT), which occurred on 10th December 2016 after a tragic road accident.
He was beloved son of Priscilla Jerotich and Joseph A.K. Kipsanai. Devoted husband to Elizabeth Wambui, loving father of Gabriella Chebet, Lisa Wanjiru, Pette Kipkoech, Chris Kibet and Susan Njoki. Brother to Kenneth, Leonard, Lucy, the Late John, Carol and Charles. Brother-in-law to Paul, Carol, Emily and Janet, and a wonderful uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to join the family on Wednesday, 14th December at All Saints Cathedral starting 5.30pm. Samson Ndonga was born in 1917 at Kiamwathi village in Karia sub-location, Ruring’u location, Nyeri county.
Son of the late Gakuo Kiama and the late Wanjiku Ndonga. Brother of the late Kiama Gakuo, the late Nyangendo Githambo, the late Gachungi Mbuthia, the late Benedict Wachira. Husband of the late Tereza Njoki and Esther Wachuka.
Father of the late Solomon Ngubiru, the late Elizabeth Wanjiku, Purity Wangeci, Patrick Kamau, Silas lguanya, Susan Nyangendo, Samson Ngubiru, Gabriel Kiama, the late Magdalene Wanjiku, Tabitha Muthoni, Joseph Kiama, Charles Ndegwa, Stephen Muthui, David King’ori, George Ndegwa and Fredrick Wachira. He was blessed with 43 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital, Nyeri on Friday 16th December 2016 at 8am for funeral service at AIPCEA Giakanja church. Thereafter burial ceremony will be held at his home at Kiamwathi Village, Karia Sub-location, Ruringu location Nyeri County.

He was a 2nd year student at Moi University, Eldoret Campus. Emmanuel was the son of Wilson Ochola Osoro and Petronila Ochola. Brother of Jacquiline Mwakazi, Grace, Elsa, Ruth, Florence, Joyce and Michael Ochola.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Mr. and Mrs. Ochola’s residence in Kitengela.
There will be a requiem mass at St. Monica Kitengela on 15th December 2016 at 6.30 pm.
