It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Paul Okumu Odongo on the 11th of December 2016 at the Tanaka Hospital Busia after a short illness bravely borne. Son of the late Mzee Elijah Nyegenye Odongo and the late Agnes Nasirumbi of Sangalo Village. Luchululo Sub-location, Busia County. Husband of Mama Elizabeth Masiga and Hellen Akochi, Father of Rosemary Bahati Okebe of KINR Dr. Peter Olakhi Odongo of Nairobi, Angela Oyorna, the late Eng. James Wanga Odongo, Leonida Madobo of Kilifi, Monica Muhachi MOH Nakuru, the Late Pius Bwire, Catherine Bicko Khaduli – Nairobi, Fredrick Nandako-Kisumu Fidelis Obusi Nairobi, Benjamin Olakhi Sub chief Luchululo Sub location and Lucy Nasirumbi. Brother of the late Jonathan Odongo. the late Emmanuel Odongo, the late Dominic Wandera, Stephen Odongo, Anyango, Milliana, Mary, Phyiis, Ajiambo, the late Nekesa, the late Catherine, Petronilla, Peter, Beatrice, Caroline and Wilson. Brother-in-law of Teresa Ondatto, Clement Ogomo, the late Joseph Ogomo, John Beda Ogoma. Father-in-law Mzee Paul Okumu of Patrick Okebe, Monicah Asekon, Antonina Mokechi, late Praxcedes Mulama, Ken Khaduli, jentrix Nabwire, Lilian Ajiambo and Brenda Akello. Grandfather to Charles, Edwin, Odongo Mercy, Agnes, Elizabeth, the late Tina, Moses, Audrey, Sheila, Deane, EIijah,Trizah, Sharon, Maggy, Hyacinth, Lisa, Laura, Lexan, Teresa, Agnes, Letisha, Daisy, Blanton, Leslie among others.
Friends and relatives are meeting at the Garden Square from 5.30 P.M on 15th,16th and 20th December 2016 and at his home in Sangalo Village Busia County.
There will be a Requiem Mass at the Catholic Church Nangina on Thursday 22nd of December 2016 at 2pm.
Burial will take place on Friday 23rd December 2016 at his home in Luchululo.

So sad to learn about Mzee’s demise. You were a man of very few words, you gave your family the best, we celebrate your life. To mama Elizabeth and family, be strong in the Lord, God’s time is always the best. Rest in Peace Baba.
