Husband of Mrs. Jane Wanjiku, father of Benson Muthaka (CDF Githunguri), John Ng’ang’a, Harun Mukura, Daniel Mwaura (Sub-County Probation Officer-Moyale), and Naomi Wangari (Githunguri Dairies). Grandfather of George, Ann, Mark, Joseph, Janet, Jeniffer, Mercy, Kelvin, Kennedy, among others. Brother of Janet Wairimu Ndiba, David Komu, Hannah Waruga, the late Geoffrey Mukura, Hannah Ng’endo and George Mwaura. Step brother of George Njuruba Mukura (National Chairman A.I.P.C.K). Son-in-law of Wallace Muthaka Gatoho.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at his home Mugumoini, lkinu Location, Githunguri, Kiambu County at 4.00 p.m. daily. The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home, Githunguri at 9.00 a.m. on Thursday 23/02/2017 for funeral service at P.C.E.A. Ngemwa Church at 11.00am, followed by farewell rites at his nearby farm Kiaibabu (Karabai).

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Eddy Mosoti Morara (Junior) after a long illness at Aga Khan Hospital on 13/2/2017. Loving son of George Morara Mosoti of James Finlay (Changana Tea Factory) Kericho and Carren Bosibori of Ol’Manyatta Primary School (Subukia). Brother of Cynthia Kwamboka of Chepkolon Primary School, Kericho. Grandson of the late Mosoti Kiage, Priska Kerubo Mosoti, the late Obonyo, Maria Nyaruri Mosoti, Yuvinallis Gisairo and Yunes Moraa. Nephew of the Mosotis and Gisairos.

Main fundraising will be held on Tuesday 21/2/2017 at Holy Family Basillica Nairobi to offset the medical bills and burial logistics.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 23/2/2017 for burial on 24/2/2017 at Mogumo village, Mwongori Settlement Scheme, in Nyamira County.

Loving and dearly loved mother of John Chege, Sammy Murimi, Tim Njuguna, Gladys Nyangare, Francis Mburu, Loice Wangui and Rachael Njeri. Loving sister of the late Kaironge Mburu, the late Daniel Mwangi, the late Paul Karel, Rahab Wanjiku, Joseph Maina, Peter Kiarie and Leonard Mbogo. Sister-in-law of many. Sister of Dr Lilian Mirembe Were of Chapman University-US, Dr Susan Kisakye Thrun of Minneapolis-US, Ms Rose Kyaterekera Were of Mariakani Cottage Hospital and Mr Daniel Ntalo-Were of Mariakani Cottage Hospital; sister in law of Mr Henry Thrun of Minneapolis-US, and Mrs Lilian Wanja Ntalo of USIU. Juliet was also an auntie of Christopher Thrun, Juliet Thrun, Rose Thrun, Daniel Thrun, Christopher Muganzi Were and Jeremy Kintu Were.

It is with humble acceptance of Gods’ will that we announce the death of Peter Kimani Nene a former long serving Nation newspapers distributor Kiambu County, which occurred on Sunday, 12-02-17 at St Teresa Hospital Thindigua.

He was the first child of the late Paul Nene Metha and the late Grace Nduta Nene.

He was father to the late David Nene, John Kariuki, (California, USA), Jane Nduta Atueyi, and Lilian Wairimu Njuguna, (California, USA). He was father in law to Naomi Wairimu Nene, Anne Muthoni Kariuki (California USA), Chukwudi Atueyi, and Nicholas Njuguna.

He was a brother of Rosemary Wairimu Mbugua, Lucy Nyambura, Joseph Fredrick Ndichu, Nelly Wanjiru Weingarten (U.K), George Njuguna and Gladys Muthoni Kariuki. He was a stepbrother to the late Fredrick Kimani, Peter Goko (Kabau), Jane Wairimu Njuguna amongst others. He was a doting grand father of the late Leone Kimani, Mary Wanjiku, & Matthew Waithaka Nene, Christopher, Gabriel and the late Jackson Kariuki, (California, USA), Chidima & Chika Atueyi,(U.K), Nicholas & Curtis Njuguna (California, USA).
