Brother of Janet Wairimu Ndiba, David Komu, Hannah Waruga, the late Geoffrey Mukura, Hannah Ng’endo and George Mwaura. Step brother of George Njuruba Mukura (National Chairman A.I.P.C.K). Son-in-law of Wallace Muthaka Gatoho.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at his home Mugumoini, lkinu Location, Githunguri, Kiambu County at 4.00 p.m. daily. The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home, Githunguri at 9.00 a.m. on Thursday 23/02/2017 for funeral service at P.C.E.A. Ngemwa Church at 11.00am, followed by farewell rites at his nearby farm Kiaibabu (Karabai).

He was a brother of Rosemary Wairimu Mbugua, Lucy Nyambura, Joseph Fredrick Ndichu, Nelly Wanjiru Weingarten (U.K), George Njuguna and Gladys Muthoni Kariuki. He was a stepbrother to the late Fredrick Kimani, Peter Goko (Kabau), Jane Wairimu Njuguna amongst others.
