We regret to announce the death of Fredrick Wagura Wangai of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) Nairobi, which occurred on Monday 13th February, 2017. He was a Senior Inspector of Electronics in the Technical Department. Loving husband of Purity Muthoni. Father of Faith Wanjiku, Charity Wambui and Martin Wangai. Son of the late Solomon Wangai Kahando and Hannah Wanjiku Wangai. Son in-law of the late Paul Mwai Wanjohi and Mary Agnes Wanjiku. Brother of Mary Muthoni, Jecinta Mukami, Elias Kimaru, Esther Nyaguthii, Christopher Mureithi, James Muhiato, Loise Njoki and Zachary Wamutitu. Step brother of Mukami, Watetu, Mwaniki, Wagura, Gitonga, Wangechi, Gakenia, Mumbi, Wanjiru, Wanjau and Ndirangu. Brother in-law of Teresia Watetu, Alice Wangui, John Wanjohi, Stephen Kiama, Jane Rose Wambui, Mutiga Gichuhi, Nathanel Mwambanga, Margaret Kimaru, Damaris Wanjira, Anne Wambui and Mary Muthoni. Uncle of Wanjiku, Mwangi, Leah, Maina, Wangechi, Muthoni, Kamunya, Wangai, Muriithi, Kahando, Valentine, Wanjiku Muriithi, Anne Wanjiku, Rahab, Muchiri, Murage, Shigadi, Mark, Gift, Harriet, Abigael, Lilian, Sharon, Chadwick, Maina, Franlin, Natasha, Hope and Duncan. Grandfather of Prince, Mutero, Njamio, Kimaru, Zoe, Muriithi, Macharia, Mwangi, Ian, Roy, Wambui, Nelly, Ben and Rosaline.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Monday 20th February, 2017 at 7pm at his Utawala home. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 21st February, 2017 at 7.30am and the burial is the same day at his home Njogu-ini Village, Nyeri County.

    Message of Condolence
    We the Board of Management, Supervisory Committee, Staff and entire membership of Sauti Sacco Society Ltd wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, friends and colleagues of the late Fredrick Wagura Wangai who until his demise was the chairman of the Sacco’s Supervisory Committee.
    May God Rest his soul in eternal peace and grant devine strength to his family to overcome the grief. Amen.
