Wife of Joseph Gatundu Kihurani. Daughter of Elishiba Muthoni and the late Ndirangu Gakuru and late Josephine Wangu. Mother of Anthony (Thika), Kenneth (Ol Joro Orok), Mercy (Kitale), Victor (Canada), Doris (Subati Flowers), Peter (USA). Mother-in-law of Celestine, Janet, Jane, Joanne and the late Benson. Sister of Lucy Kiragu, Margaret, Lucy Karimi, Charity, Nancy, Christopher and the late Charles.

Friends and relatives are gathering daily at her home in Chakareli Village, 01 joro Orok, Nyandarua County.

The cortege leaves Nyahururu Referral mortuary on Thursday 16th February 2017 at 8:00am and thereafter a funeral service at her home in Ol Joro orok starting from 10:00am.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Bamudas Bar & Restaurant along Kagundo Road opposite Shell petrol station next to Rising Motors and Bonitta-Tala and at her home in Kingoti Village. There will be a mini harambee on Thursday 16th February 2017 at the same place. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary for funeral service at her home in Kingoti Village on Saturday 18th February 2016 at 8:00 am.

Pastor Dorcas Karimi Mungiria (Mama Roy)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dorcas Karimi, wife of Pastor Samuel Kanga (Deliverance Church, Kiutine), which happened through a tragic road accident at Kiengu Market on Friday 10th February, 2017.

Mother of Royson Mwiti, Emmanuel Mwenda (Abothuguci High School) and Joshua Mutethia (Igembe Boys), the daughter of the late Joseph Mutia and Teresiah Nkoyai, sister of Margaret Kananu, Doris Muthoni, Patrick Mwendia, Eunice Wanja, Mercy Kagendo, and Stella Kathambi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their home Kiengu and Midland Hotel Maua for burial arrangements. The cortege leaves Maua Methodist Hospital on Friday 17th February, 2017 at 10.00 am for a joint funeral service at Maua Stadium. Thereafter burial will be at Kiengu, lgembe Central.

He was a caring brother of Mr. Samwel Kwendo, Mrs. Joy Kiarie of Murang’a, Mr. Simeon Kwendo and Mr. Alfred Achinda and the late Rosemary Anyanzwa. Brother-in-law of Mr. Jeremy Kiarie, Matrida Abed Makara, Aisha Abed Makara and Haji Abed Makara. Nephew of Fredrick Achinda, Phanice Boaz, Phloice Ombima, Rev. Funeral arrangements are taking place daily at Tumaini meeting chambers, behind Kencom bus stage in town at 5pm.There will be a Church Service in his honour and viewing of the body on Wednesday, 15/02/2016 at ACK St. Martins Kahawa Wendani starting 11am. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home for his final resting place at Ebwali village, Luanda constituency in Vihiga County on Thursday 16/02/2017. Burial will take place on Saturday 18/02/2017.

 It is now a year since your departure to be with the Lord. We dearly miss you and would give anything to have even a single day with you, but we take comfort in the facts that you are in a better place and we all shall meet again.

Son in law to the late Japuonj Walter and Mama Alice Nyangaga of Rata village, Seme-Kisumu County. Brother to the late John, the late Japheth, the late Jessica, and the late Mary. Brother in law to Yuanita, Ruth, Benta, Kenneth, Milton, Judy, George, Deborah, Nixon, Caleb and Godfrey among others. Another funeral service will be held at ACK St Paul’s Ugolwe on Friday 17th February 2017 at noon. The burial takes place on Saturday 18th February 2017 at his home in Ugolwe Village, Ugenya, Siaya County.
